I don't fall asleep when I watch Turkish series but I found myself drifting away a few times in the 1st episode. I persevered with 2nd episode but can't finish it. It was boring and disconnected. I still can't catch the main story it wants to tell. There's nothing fresh or new here. It just did not work for me. It was like eating a dish of bland curry where the ingredients and herbs don't seem to complement each other.

This is probably the shortest Turkish series that I have ever seen, weighing in at only 5 episodes and it was by far the deepest or most dramatic of this summer's offerings (2022). The first episode ends in a big reveal that had me wondering where is the series going to go from here. Episode two ends with our female lead finding out what the audience already knows in another big dramatic cliffhanger ending.
The series runners really knew how to pull the emotional chain. I found my self crying in just about every episode. This was set up in episode one with this great love story between college student Firuze and driver Kagan. Firuze lives a simple life with her close-knit family which includes only her two brothers (Feryat the older and Omer the younger). One day Firuze meets a young man Kagan on the ferry on her journey to school. He almost instantly falls in love and begins to pursue her. No sooner does he do this but his secrets come out and his family starts to wreck havoc with hers.
This is a pretty dramatic series and it deals with some serious subject matter including rape, homicide via drinking and driving, murder, mental illness, slander, physical violence and blackmail.
A big selling point of this series is that it is short at just five episodes...so if you want to get your feet wet with a romantic Turkish drama, but aren't ready to commit to something bigger...this could be the series for you. Not my favorite Turkish drama out there, but I did enjoy the series and after episode one, thought they might have boxed themselves in with the cliffhanger...so I kept wondering how they were going to stick the romance with the obstacles that they put in place, but they managed. Not a light series, but if you are ok with sadness or in need of a good cry...the acting is great and I would recommend this series.

Boring and slow series. Weak and poor scenario writing. As a viewer you know what will happen in the next scene and the next... The actors are good, but the execution of the story goes nowhere. If it continues like this, it won't last to finish season 1.
In summertime nobody wants to watch a dramatic series, so, not a surprise it was cancelled after 5 episodes because it was boring, did not understand where is that going and there were no chemistry.

Exceptional story, very well written scenario, the harmony of cast are so good. Philosophical and emotional approach to human nature and relations levels up this TV series. It is so touching in every way.
Even though I only watched the first episode I loved every second of it. Sensational story, cast is very good as well as filming. Istanbul views are beautiful as big part of it. Already I am so exciting for next episodes. I hope it will continue with this quality till the end.

A tragic story that ended with a smile. After the rain comes the sun, and although the rain is beautiful, with the sun comes the rainbow.
I have seen all 5 episodes and I can say that I liked the series very much.
10/10 because it captured the complexity of life. No matter how sad the action is (a sad reality of our life) and no matter how much the characters suffer, at the end of the tunnel, through will, love and trust, there is light for those who believe in it.
The tragic story could not be continued any longer.
But the ending deserves to be developed. Kagan and Firuze deserved an episode full of joy. The chemistry between them gradually developed until it became more than obvious.
Ilhan is a very good actor, portraying the role in a flawless manner. I saw the series for this actor and I can say that he is a very talented young man.
