The plot is similar to that of a story written by Jack Ritchie in which a man is given four months to live and decides to kill anyone he sees being rude (the alteration being the extension of victims to those obsessed with material gain or ignorant people), and eventually inspires (at least) one copycat, as his actions are looked upon as admirable.
