Estab Life: Great Escape

This anime series is set in a distant future; the population has significantly decreased and those there are must remain in their own walled zone, known as a Cluster. Each cluster has its own distinct culture. Inevitably not everybody is happy where they are; that is where the 'Escape Shop Extractors' come in. They are a small group of mercenaries who work to get people out of clusters they are unhappy in. Inevitably the extractors are not popular with the authorities. The group is fairly diverse; as well as human members there are a wolf-man, a robot and a slime-girl.

I thought this series was rather fun; the sort of fun you enjoy while watching but probably won't feel a need to rewatch or even remember long after the series ends. The characters are a fun bunch and each episode provides good exciting moments although one is unlikely to feel our protagonists are in real danger most of the time. The various clusters we see are interestingly varied. The characters designs and animation are solid enough. Overall I wouldn't say this is a must see but would still say it is worth a try if you are in the mood for some light weight action.
