I had the honor of attending the industry screening of this film at the famed Tribeca Cinemas on 2/27/11 as a non-industry invited guest. The film depicts the period of time leading up to the yet unsolved murder of 19 year old Robert Areizaga Jr. of Yonkers, NY.
The story line is heart wrenching... having it portrayed in such raw and honest way, by a talented group of actors, makes this movie an unbelievable emotional experience.
Kristos Andrews does an outstanding job in his role as Robert. The supporting cast perfectly complement Kristos with their candid and unapologetic portrayals of Robert's friends and family.
Marisol Sacramento adds incredible depth to Kristos' character in her role as Robert's "better half".
Anthony Aquilino, as Robert's tough-love boss, brings stark authenticity and genuineness to the role of Frank Ciccone, and his final scene in the movie is unforgettable.
Dalia Davi and Cuban Link round out the cast in their loving but blunt roles as Robert's parents.
Be prepared to be taken on an incredible emotional journey throughout this intense yet delicately directed film by Gregori J. Martin, the cousin of Robert Areizaga Jr.
