The suits at Warner Brothers Discovery, the recently combined HBO Max and Discovery + streaming services, removed this delightful show without warning from the HBO Max platform.
In a sea of junk, this show stood out as a refreshing slice of life of two artists and their adopted street dog (Amsterdam) set in the backdrop of Mexico City (though I believe it was filmed in Uruguay?).

This show really grew on me as I kept watching. It's full of cliches but there's so much heart and the actors are so winning that you really love the characters. The setting in Mexico City is wonderful. Just be prepared to fast forward through the musical scenes. You get the WHOLE SONG every time. If they do a season 2, I hope they will realize that less is more with these things.

Very nice, sweet show. I like the characters, and the storylines for the most part. It's a little bit funny, it's very sweet, and a little bit sad. While the music is good, the numbers go on for too long. It's not necessary to have an entire song played in the middle of an episode. I feel the time could be better used with dialogue and character interaction. That's my only complaint, and it's not a big one. I have to admit, I'm in love with Nadia, just like all the guys in the show are. I'm not familiar with the actress who plays her, but she has such a wonderful face. She draws your eyes whenever she's on screen, regardless of what else is going on. Anyway, an enjoyable show. It's also refreshing to see a series that is more real life. Not every couple is interracial, not every couple is homosexual, although there are some gay characters. It's people just living their lives, without the show trying to send a message. I say give it a try.

This show is absolutely charming! Like, I could go on forever about how good it is. I'm shocked the whole world isn't talking about this one yet. Artfully shot, amazing music, lovable characters, heartfelt yet funny plots, gorgeous backdrop in Mexico City... Anyhow you should just watch it!
I'm not usually into romance shows, but this was more than romance-it was so lovely, so real, funny, sad, and just enchanting! I absolutely loved it!!! Fantastic acting-I would highly recommend this show.
