The game was originally an April Fools joke before it became a reality.
Hideki Kamiya is a huge fan of shoot 'em ups and is also a fan of Moon Cresta and Terra Cresta.
The game was supposed to be released on December 9th, 2021 but was postponed due to polishes. It was eventually released on February 22nd, 2022.
