Raghunath NB, a graduate of the Pune Film Institute and a journalist, is responsible for all the major creative elements and technical aspects of the film, including composition, lyrics, music, cinematography, editing, production and direction. The film tells the story of a mother's and daughter's relationship between them. Lakshmi belongs to rich aristocratic family but now lives in a poor house due to a wrong decision or choice, she made inter life. She has a daughter, Ashwathy who studies in eighth standard. The film reveals the problems and difficulties that they face in order to their goal. This is the story of a typical Indian women who struggles to meet their day to day expenses and send her daughter to a better school. Also how poor women are exploited by the rich men who acts as a supporter to her. She receives bad treatments from various corners of the society inspite of pleasing personality and helping mentality towards the poor and helpless men. The cinematography and Editing of this Malayalam Film is very good and pleasing. Almost all the credits except make up of the film (32 credits) is done by a single person, may the the first film of this kind in the history of World cinema.
