The script for Meteoric was inspired by dash cam video appearing on local Tucson news following a meteor occurrence on June 2. 2016.
Meteoric was a finalist in the Best Drama Film category at the Texas Short Film Festival, Fall 2022.
In May 2023, Meteoric took Best Short Film honors in the Zoe Awards Film Festival, based in the industry hub of Atlanta.
