Beth Behrs is reflecting on her time on The Neighborhood and is “grateful” to CBS for picking up the sitcom for one final season to properly say goodbye, unlike with 2 Broke Girls.

Behrs’ post comes after the eye network renewed the sitcom she co-stars in with Max Greenfield, Tichina Arnold, and Cedric the Entertainer for an eighth and final season.

“Most of my 20s were on 2 Broke Girls, almost all of my 30s were on The Neighborhood and I’ll usher in my 40s as we end our story,” Behrs posted on Instagram.

“Kat Dennings and I never got a goodbye or an end to our 2 Broke Girls story, and I’m just so grateful to CBS for a chance to say goodbye to Gemma the right away.”

Dennings replied to Behrs post, saying, “Woooo!!! Go Beth!!!!”

A guest spot on a television sitcom, especially one as insanely popular as "The Big Bang Theory," is basically television law. Stewart died Friday, according to a spokesperson for the comedy sketch troupe The Groundlings. The cause of death wasn’t immediately available.

“We are heartbroken to hear of the passing of our dear sweet Lynne Stewart,” The Groundlings shared in a statement. “She wasn’t just the most beautiful woman in all of Puppetland — she was the most beautiful woman that we ever met, inside and out. Her warmth, humor and unforgettable presence lit up a room and brought joy to so, so many. She will be deeply missed, but her light will continue to shine through the laughter and love she gave us all.”

When she was just 12 years old, she was told she “wasn’t pretty enough” and was “fat.” These words, passed on by her manager after the auditions, made a strong impact on her.

“Thinking about it was pretty crazy,” Dennings said. “I’m wondering how someone can say that about a young child.” “This is crazy.” The actress started her career in the early 2000s on the WB sitcom Raising Dad, a time she says was not as accepting as the industry is now.

There was a time, not very long ago, when conservative comedy was generally dismissed. Conceptually, commentators would say, it’s a contradiction in terms, in that the purpose of comedy is to challenge systems of powers that conservatives, definitionally, seek to preserve. In practice, they only have one joke, and it’s not funny. But in a political climate in which hard-right voices are dominant, ABC evidently doesn’t need to be known as the network that summarily fired Roseanne from her namesake sitcom for one racist tweet too many; now it’s the network getting back in the Tim Allen business after cancelling his last show in 2017, and despite his many backward views and unprofessional on-set behavior. Diane Delano, the busy character actor who portrayed Officer Barbara Semanski on CBS’ Northern Exposure and the mean science teacher Bobbi Glass on The WB’s Popular, has died. She was 67.

Delano died Friday of cancer in her home in Sherman Oaks, her friend Stepfanie Kramer announced.

“She was big and bold and brought her sharp wit and perfect comic timing to every role,” Kramer said. “Her earthy and raucous presence enabled her to always own the room. She was one of a kind.”

As Rhonda Vasek, Delano had a romantic liaison with Douglas Brackman Jr. (Alan Rachins) in 1987 on the second season of NBC’s L.A. Law, and she guest-starred on such other shows as Falcon Crest, Cop Rock, Step by Step, Third Rock From the Sun, ER, Monk, Six Feet Under, Cold Case, The Bridge, 2 Broke Girls and PEN15.

Stumble is a mockumentary about the ridiculously high stakes and competitive world of junior college cheer.

Cheerleading coach Monica Aldama, known for her appearance on the Netflix docuseries Cheer, is executive producing the comedy, which is expected to feature a female coach character. Shifting Gears, the upcoming sitcom starring Tim Allen and Kat Dennings, has staged another reunion. A multi-cam family sitcom, Shifting Gears follows Matt (Allen), the stubborn and widowed owner of a car restoration shop who gets to reconnect with his daughter Riley (played by Dennings) and his grandchildren. The cast also includes American Pie's Seann William Scott as Gabriel, Daryl Chill Mitchell as Stitch, Maxwell Simkins as Carter, and Barrett Margolis as Georgia. Deadline confirms that Suite Life of Zack and Cody and The Social Network star Brenda Song is the latest to join Shifting Gears. Tim Allen has proven himself one of the best and most reliable comedic stars of his time. Rising up as a stand-up comic in the late 1980s, Allen hit the big time in 1991 with the ABC sitcom Home Improvement. The highly-rated sitcom lasted eight seasons to establish Allen as a comedic star. That led to further success in movies like The Santa Clause, Galaxy Quest, and voicing Buzz Lightyear in the Toy Story franchise.

Allen returned to TV in 2011 in the ABC sitcom Last Man Standing, which ran for six seasons and then an additional three on Fox. He then reprised his role in the Disney+ The Santa Clauses series, while still mixing in a few turns as Buzz.
