The cold open, which featured Jim and Dwight arguing about canned foods, was actually filmed for the previous season and is featured in the blooper reel on the sixth season DVD and Blu-ray sets. Pam is wearing the clothes she wore when she was a part of the sales team in this scene.
Andy's conference room mod sheet is used by 5 people - 1PM: Andy -Private meetings at mods 5, 7 and 10, Ryan -Jam session at mods 6, 9 and 12; 2PM: Phyllis -Knitting circle at mod 4, Angela -Conference call at mod 7, and Kevin -Nap at mod 9.
When Michael was talking to Kevin and Todd, he used the phrase "Gentlemen, start your engines." It is a phrase commonly used during Daytona or racing circuits to signify everyone getting ready.
