The first look at 28 Years Later dropped, and let’s just say, it’s a lot to process. Shot entirely on an iPhone, the trailer served up some serious DIY energy. But while the low-budget vibes might intrigue some, others are questioning if it’s a bold move or a cinematic gamble. The real twist? No sign of Cillian Murphy — yes, the heartbeat of the original saga is nowhere to be found.

Instead, the trailer leans into a claustrophobic, handheld aesthetic that feels part indie experiment, part apocalyptic panic. Fans are divided, and the jury’s out — will this risky reboot survive the zombie hype?

Uh-oh, it’s beginning to look like Hana (Keisha Castle-Hughes) maybe shouldn’t trust her boyfriend, Ethan (Michael Raymond-James), on FBI: Most Wanted. Just look at TV Insider’s exclusive sneak peek of the December 3 episode as the FBI agent and Air Marshal cozy up on the couch. The good news? Ethan’s dog loves Hana—which makes sense, given how much time she’s spending with him. “I know I’ve bene Mia lately, but I do have a special night planned for us this week,” Ethan tells her. “I got us tickets to the Rockettes’ Christmas Spectacular at Radio City. I know it’s corny.” But Hana is all for it. “I love corny. I actually love Christmas—especially if it’s with you,” she says. The two share a cute moment before his dog interrupts. But after Ethan leaves to take him out, Hana sees a text come through on his phone…...

Director James Cameron’s The Terminator is celebrating its fortieth anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, it’s the latest one of the director’s movies to get a radical 4K restoration done by Park Road Post, a post-production facility owned by Peter Jackson’s WingNut Films. This company is behind some of the most incredible, acclaimed restorations in recent memory, including Peter Jackson’s WWI documentary, They Shall Not Grow Old, and his The Beatles’ Get Back documentary.
But they’ve also been controversial, with James Cameron using them to significantly alter the looks of several of his films as they hit 4K. Notably, each film had been completely wiped of any film-like grain, making them look more like contemporary films than those made in the 1980s and 90s. This was especially noticeable in Aliens, which always sported a grainy look due to the high-speed film stock used.

If you’d hoped we were done with slow scenes celebrating cowboy culture, you’ll be disappointed with Yellowstone Season 5 Episode 10.
The first half of the episode took another long-winded detour to Texas, where Beth showed up out of the blue to insist on a date night with Rip.
Some of the Texas stuff was interesting, and I love Beth and Rip, but come on, Yellowstone! We have a murder to avenge.
(Paramount/Screenshot) Rip’s Warnings About Snakes On Yellowstone Season 5 Episode 10 Were Symbolic Of The Real Threat, But That Wasn’t Enough
The opening scene confused me. I couldn’t figure out if this was another flashback to before John’s death or if Rip was back in Texas in the present.
It was an interesting scenario that I probably would have enjoyed if I wasn’t so busy trying to figure out the timeline and how snakes...

It can be universally agreed upon that Taylor Sheridan has forever altered the way the audience perceives Westerns in the modern film and television industry. He not only brought back a near-extinct genre to life but gave it such momentum that Westerns are gaining a foothold as one of the most-watched genres by the modern audience.

Yellowstone, in that respect, began a revolution. It was not simply the cowboys and the vast, endless expanse of the ranches that made life seem so attractive. Sheridan’s creation gave the viewers a feast for the senses. With family drama and politics wrapped in murder and mayhem, Yellowstone ushered in a new era of Westerns that erased the line separating greatness and corruption.

When it comes to storytelling, the magic often lies in the nuances, the details that linger in the mind long after the last scene fades to black. And, if there’s any hope left for Yellowstone, perhaps it resides in Taylor Sheridan’s gift for storytelling, evident in his masterstroke, Hell or High Water. This low-budget gem, featuring Chris Pine and Ben Foster as bank-robbing siblings and Jeff Bridges as their relentless pursuer, wowed critics at Cannes and captured audiences’ hearts worldwide.

Set against the backdrop of Texas, Sheridan weaves a vibrant tapestry. He artfully explores the enduring legacy of the American frontier, creating a narrative that’s as thought-provoking as it is thrilling. Reflecting on Sheridan’s success, one might wonder: Could Yellowstone find its saving grace if its creator taps into the same reservoir of creativity that gave us something to chew on for days and weeks?...

Sunday’s Emmy Awards will take place nearly two weeks after 16 Disney networks went dark on DirecTV due to a carriage dispute between the companies.
Barring a resolution before the show, the unavailability of ABC for 11 million DirecTV subscribers (a healthy number of them in the L.A. market) will come at an inopportune time for Disney. The media giant is not just broadcasting this year’s Emmys; its shows, notably FX’s The Bear and Shōgun, are poised to take many of the night’s biggest trophies. Fxx, one of the other networks affected by the blackout, is also airing an edited telecast of last weekend’s Creative Arts Emmys, which Disney dominated with a record 51 wins, on Saturday night.

Peacock has handed a straight-to-series order to the crime thriller M.I.A., written and executive produced by Ozark co-creator Bill Dubuque.
MRC will produce the South Florida-set series about a family running drugs for Etta Tiger Jonze, but when her family is slaughtered, she seeks justice to avenge her blood family while she builds her chosen family. The result sends Etta on a series journey from a powerless orphan to South Florida’s most powerful criminal queenpin.
Karen Campbell will executive produce and showrun M.I.A., while Stefano Sollima will direct and executive produce. Earlier, Solima served as the creator and director of ZeroZeroZero and as the showrunner and director of the hit Italian series Gomorrah.
Ozark earned 45 Emmy nominations and four wins, in addition to honors at the Golden Globes, WGA, SAG and DGA Awards.
Similar to the storyline for M.I.A., Ozark was about family and the American dream.

Plot: When Riley (Sarah Durn), a YouTube paranormal investigator, disappears, her older sister, Mia (Camille Sullivan), frantically searches for her.
Review: Of all the films premiering at this year’s edition of the Fantasia Film Festival, very few have piqued the interest of genre fans everywhere, like Shelby Oaks. The feature directorial debut of YouTube film critic Chris Stuckmann (who also wrote and co-produced the film), it was recently snapped up for theatrical release by Neon, who are riding high as a genre distributor following the success of Longlegs. Many of his fans are curious whether Stuckmann’s on-camera criticism translates into solid directorial chops.
So what’s the result? Sad to say, the hope that Shelby Oaks would be the next great horror debut was overblown. This is meant as no sleight against Stuckmann who, I must admit, I know next to nothing about. I’ve only seen a handful of his reviews,...

The CW Network has given a 13-episode Season 7 renewal to its flagship drama series All American to premiere in 2025. Additionally, the network today announced pickups for Season 11 of unscripted magic competition series Penn & Teller: Fool Us and Season 4 of The Chosen.
The All American news is not surprising since, as Deadline reported, the college drama had been in the strongest position of any remaining legacy CW scripted series to continue.
All American, whose Season 6 renewal was stipulated in Nexstar’s deal to acquire the CW, is a top ratings performer, and it also is the most economically feasible to produce for its studio, Warner Bros. TV, as its license fee, believed to be north of $1M per episode, is the highest among all 3 “old CW” dramas that were up for renewal this year.

One of the more surprising elements of The CW’s fall schedule unveiled last month was that there was no room for Penn & Teller: Fool Us – one of the longest-running anchors of the network’s unscripted slate.
That’s changed now as the network has renewed the show for Season 11.
It is one of a handful of renewals at the network; The CW also picked up All American for a seventh season and dated season four of religious drama The Chosen.
The magic competition show is centered around the legendary duo, who invite aspiring magicians are invited to perform their best trick to try and fool them. Anyone who succeeds wins the right to perform with Penn & Teller in their show at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Penn & Teller see the trick only once and have to immediately try to work it out.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile wasn’t an instant success as fans addressed a lot of issues that the developers might take into account. But it’s coming along. Players may curse the blurry graphics or technical glitches hindering the gameplay, but in-game features are being fitted to ease the pain that the game initially delivered.
It shares a cross-progression, which allows players to sync their content with other games in the franchise. So far, whatever the developers are trying to implement in the game seems to be up to the blind alley, as reports suggest player engagement is down by a good chunk already. The new feature they are adding has to work, or the game will likely be in grave danger.
If That is True, There’s No Running from Destiny This Time
iOS has better support for the game than Android.

Even Kristin Scott Thomas can’t save this painful French comedy about two older women heading for the Greek islands for wacky fun
Marc Fitoussi, whose directing credits include work on the French TV hit Call My Agent!, has created this excruciatingly sugary French comedy of female friendship in a vacation paradise. It’s a one-note, one-joke, non-Mamma-Mia! the non-musical, with three lead performances that are borderline insufferable.
Olivia Côte plays Blandine, a straitlaced, sobersided woman whose life is miserable; she’s divorced from a man who is now marrying someone half his age and her 20-year-old son is moving out. But then she reconnects with an old schoolfriend, the wild and irrepressible Magalie (Laure Calamy) who suggests they do something they once dreamed of as kids: visit the Greek island of Amorgos, because it was featured in Luc Besson’s The Big Blue, their favourite film from those days.

Looking back at Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 crime thriller Pulp Fiction we can all agree that the casting of John Travolta, Uma Thurman, and Bruce Willis was top-notch, alongside the impeccable storyline. But what if we say, Willis was never on Tarantino’s long list of potential actors for the role of Butch Coolidge.
Nicolas Cage in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (2022)
According to reports, Quentin Tarantino suggested Sean Penn, Nicolas Cage, and Johnny Depp, for the iconic role. Suggesting a lengthy list of names ahead of casting, Tarantino wanted to star the above-mentioned A-listers in his crime thriller over Bruce Willis. But things worked in favor of the Die Hard star, as he eventually appeared alongside Uma Thurman’s Mia.

There's something so carefully and deliberately old school about "The Fall Guy," director David Leitch's blockbuster take on the television show of the same name, that allows it to feel revolutionary. Like a cry from another era, this is a major motion picture built on the hope that audiences will want to see a cast of attractive, charming, interesting actors bounce off each other on screen, trading barbs and dashing looks. There's no franchise-building here, and no ambitions beyond offering the audience primal, pure pleasures.
Do you want to watch Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt be funny and badass? Do you want to watch them fall in love and save the day? Of all the ways Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula) would leap into others lives to put right what once went wrong on Quantum Leap, the most stories were always ones that involved music. Scott Bakula can do pretty much anything but that man can Sing. The people behind Quantum Leap took great advantage of this and across five seasons they gave him (and other actors) the chance to belt out many incredible songs – some originally written for the show itself and some flawless covers.
Now we’re going through the best of the best of these performances. We’ll be looking at the original series, the 2022 continuation, and an extra gem along the way. To help narrow this list down,...

In season three of "The Morning Show," a race scandal rocks Uba, the broadcast network that serves as the show's backdrop. The storyline sees Karen Pittman's Mia and Greta Lee's Stella strikingly depict the realities of women of color in largely white, corporate spaces like network television. "That's me and Greta actually, in a real way," Pittman tells Popsugar after speaking at the 2024 Makers Conference on Feb. 28.
Through characters like Mia and Nya on "And Just Like That...," Pittman brings incredible nuance to her portrayal of strong Black women who navigate their race in their respective environments, which she opened up about in conversation with "Succession" actor J. Smith-Cameron. The two spoke at the three-day summit hosted by Makers, a community-focused media brand owned by Yahoo that's focused on accelerating equity for women in the workplace.

For the fourth consecutive year, we’ve got a firecracker of a Best Actress Oscar race. Lily Gladstone took home the Screen Actors Guild Award on Saturday for “Killers of the Flower Moon” over Emma Stone, who had been on a roll since the two won their respective Golden Globes, having pocketed the Critics Choice and BAFTA Awards for “Poor Things.” Now they each have an industry prize and Best Actress feels like a coin-flip. Gladstone has closed the gap on Stone in the Oscar odds since Saturday. Don’t be surprised if she overtakes the top spot soon. But when the SAG Awards and BAFTAs don’t align in Best Actress, which one has the edge at the Oscars?
Since BAFTA became an Oscar precursor 23 years ago, the Brits and the actors guilds have disagreed 13 times in the category prior to the Battle of the Stones. But not all splits are created equally.

Bad Bunny has revealed what he may have been doing if he wasn’t creating smash hits in the studio.
During a recent interview for the cover of Interview Magazine, the Puerto Rican rapper and singer shared that if a music career hadn’t worked out, he would’ve pursued culinary arts.
“I saw cooking as something creative because sure, there are recipes, but there’s also the opportunity to craft your own dishes, to create your own flavor,” he explained.
But Bad Bunny admitted that he always had his heart set on creating music since he was young.
“I actually dreamed so much about having this career,” the “I Like It” rapper said. “I’d come home from school and go straight to the computer, making beats and learning to record my own music. I’d sometimes say, ‘Damn, if this isn’t meant to be, I don’t...
