Grace VanderWaal is a star in her own right since winning season 11 of America's Got Talent, but that doesn't make her immune from some fan-girling.
The talented 12-year-old singer-songwriter has already received flowers from Taylor Swift and congratulatory tweets from the likes of Katy Perry, Ellen DeGeneres and Reese Witherspoon, but VanderWaal has maintained that Jason Mraz, 39, is one of her biggest inspirations.
"Jason Mraz, I would love to meet and just sing a song with," she told USA Today. "I really like his music and singing his songs."

In what was definitely the most highly-anticipated "Carpool Karaoke" segment since Lin Manuel-Miranda hopped in the passenger seat, last night's episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden featured Michelle Obama as Corden's karaoke partner. The duo sang Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours" — one of the First Lady's favorites — and Beyonce's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" before being joined by a surprise guest. During their rendition of Diane Warren's "This Is For My Girls," Missy Elliott suddenly appeared and, of course, the trio eventually launched into "Get Ur Freak On" — a song that's especially appropriate considering the lyric "Copywritten / So don't copy me."...

[CUSTOM_PLAYER_BRIGHTCOVE "4855983440001"] President Obama paid tribute to Prince in a statement Thursday following the iconic artist's death at the age 57. "Today, the world lost a creative icon," the president said. "Michelle and I join millions of fans from around the world in mourning the sudden death of Prince. Few artists have influenced the sound and trajectory of popular music more distinctly, or touched quite so many people with their talent. As one of the most gifted and prolific musicians of our time, Prince did it all. Funk. R&B. Rock and roll. He was a virtuoso instrumentalist, a brilliant bandleader, and an electrifying performer.

nullWhat if "Hotline Bling" was about the Lord instead of an old booty call? Devout remixes are a thing too, people. The Destiny Metropolitan Worship Church is Atlanta is getting a lot of attention on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media sites for their religious takes on songs by hip-hop artists like Drake and Future. "You always call me 'cause I'm Yours, Lord / Calling me back to love," says the hook from the church's "Hotline Bling" remix. Another new hit to get the gospel treatment? "Big Rings" from Drake and Future's joint mixtape, "What a Time to Be Alive." Their versions of these songs are straight fiiiiiire. (You know,...

Sorry, Adele, but Drake is officially the most important pop star of 2015. Not only did he score two No. 1 albums this year, but "Hotline Bling" has literally taken over lives and ruined everyone's chances of being at all productive for the rest of the year. When the song isn't being subjected to various covers and memes, it's also invading places of worship. For some reason, a gospel choir decided that, of all the songs to worship God with, nothing does it better than Drake's late-night booty-call anthem. It's hard out here for worshippers, and you need your own "Holy Ghost Bling" to go viral now if you want to keep providing folks with post-service cookouts. In this rendition, that infectious "You used to call me on my cell phone" refrain goes something like this: "You always call me 'cuz I'm yours lord/ Calling me back to love" Next...

Jason Mraz finally said "I'm Yours" to girlfriend, Christina Carano. E! News confirmed the engaged couple wed Sunday in an outdoor ceremony surrounded by Virginia forest. The 38-year-old Grammy-winning crooner met his stunning bride at an altar decorated by a canopy wrapped in greenery. The nuptials, which featured a small guest list of around 50 people, took place at the Historic Polegreen Church in Mechanicsville, easily identified by a unique outlined house outdoors complete with faux windows. Carano, who goes by Tina, wore a long-sleeved white lace high-collar gown with a sheer tail accessorized by a crown of flowers worn in her hair. Mraz gushed over his partner of...

This is the best possible way to qualify for the carpool lane.
James Corden brought Stevie Wonder along for The Late Late Show's signature "Carpool Karaoke" segment on Monday night.
In a gag at the start of the clip shows Wonder, who is blind, getting behind the wheel and insisting to a visibly nervous Corden, who buckles up his seat belt: "Better to be safe than sorry."
But it turns out the music icon, 65, "forgot his license," leaving Cordon takes over the wheel and frees up Wonder to FaceTime, play his harmonica and, of course, croon along with Corden...

The auditions are over. Hollywood Week is over. Finally we get to start voting on "American Idol," or at least you get to start voting if you happen to vote on "American Idol." And for me, that means a transition to a live-blog, even if the shows currently aren't Actually live, since there's no way the "Idol" production is prepared to do 12 performances in an hour-long live show. But anyway... Follow along and comment below. Commenting has been slow so far, but perhaps now it's time for people to being to have real preferences? 8:01 p.m. Et. Ah.
