David Hernandez is a well-known television host in the Caribbean. He hosts a game show called 'Jaque Mate' (Check-Mate). In the phone call segment with the viewers he is surprised by a supposed kidnapper that claims to have David's wife and son kidnapped. The kidnapper forces David to play his game, making him obey 3 rules: No commercial break, he can't hang up the call, and needs to play his game or else he would kill his family. Through the kidnapper's game we discover everything that's behind one of the most seen hijacks in the world, unfolding David's most hidden secrets in National Live TV.
