Mardi Gras Man is well cast, and all the actors hit their marks in this touching, family-friendly film with an unlikely hero. It demonstrates that good deeds can ultimately be rewarded but the result might be a winding path with obstacles that need to be overcome. Veteran actor Shepherd, in a supporting roll as a shopkeeper, is highly believable and is the insightful conscience of the unlikely hero who has been dubbed the Mardi Gras Man by the press. The movie deals head on with contemporary issues of right and wrong, and in a refreshing way, shows there is still goodness in the world, provided one has the strength of character to stay the course.

You can't miss this fabulous independent film! The movie had a great mix of scenery to accompany a cast that went far and above to connect a story that hits the mark between good and bad characters. The connection between the lead characters is heart warming and leaves you cheering for their happy ending! Not to be outdone all supporting actors and situations blend and knit the fabric to round out a story that makes the viewers unwanting to tune out! The plot of the story truly proves that a good story can rival much larger budget films! Don't miss the opportunity to add this movie to your favorites watching list!

This heartfelt love story is well produced and well acted! The film is focused on our lead actor, played by Cris Korkalo, who takes a new job in hopes of saving his crumbling marriage. Along the way he encounters a young female rookie cop,Arkeisha Roberts, and the adventures continue! The film has a strong supporting cast headed by Hollywood actor,Gary Hudson! Another strong point is the original music that greatly supports the story line. The movie is appropriate for all audiences although it does contain some intense fighting scenes. So if you are looking for a good story I believe The Mardi Gras Man is the movie for you!
