Overuse of gay stereotypes and sends the wrong message about being gay

Portrays a singular view of gay males using outdated and overused stereotypes, with virtually no comedic value. The characters are cardboard thin. Would appeal to a sophomoric audience who enjoy simple stories lacking depth and nuance.

On a positive note, visually it was enjoyable to watch. I liked the setting, and color scheme, and attractive cast. And it was refreshing to watch a non-US film with non US actors, who did a fine job with the material they had to work with here.

I gave this movie a change but find myself rolling my eyes frequently and vacillating between annoyance and boredom. There are many funny campy films that are ridiculously funny, but this is not one of them.

The worst part for me was the implicit message the film sends about family's attitudes about being a young gay person.
