'Bang Rajan', was a major force in Thai Cinema but the follow up was pretty weak, both in story and battle action. The latter aspect was what made the first, such an exhilarating experience but No 2 (a.k.a) 'Blood Warriors', gets too bogged down with the messy political situations, surrounding the fight scenes. The Burmese baddies are almost like one dimensional caricatures, sort of like South East Asian, Dick Dastardly's. The rich Thai history, was previously (and near perfectly) showcased in the original. With overt sentimentality, this was always going to be a disappointing conclusion, to events (directly) after the heroics of the true Bang Rajan warriors.
