The movie has a fair bit of glitters. And to be honest if more effort was put into pre-production essentially the writing, the end result would have left a lasting impact. The Europe tour served no purpose to the storyline. The narrative scores a brownie point on unfolding the past sin just before intermission. Maintaining the format of his earlier outings, for format of the climax is expected to be "comedy of errors" culminating into a madcap laugh-riot. Safe to say it had enough scope for better writing.
Madhavan:: I am certain that his fans would demand a justify his reason to be associated with this project.
Trisha:: Her character has scope to display variety of emotions and she pulls it off effortlessly. Her affinity towards "Johnny English" detective had scope for improvement as it comes across more like "love out of pity".
Kamal Hassan:: As always expectations ride high to see the maestro pull a rabbit out the hat. There are no doubts on his acting capabilities. But on the multiple hat he dons for the project as a writer, he seriously need to re-think. Best left to the worthy and concentrate on what he does best.
Sangeetha: Offers some good post-marital advice on how to be loser and yet portray a victorious winner.
If there is a reason you should watch the movie, its for the flashback sequence shot in a single song in reverse. Yes - it certainly deserves kudos!
