I missed this cartoon and I still believe this cartoon was awesome but unfortunately it just didn't received enough viewers to continue. Three seasons is just not enough entertainment and I hope in the future another cartoon could last a lil longer than just three seasons!
Honestly not what I was expecting. Fast paced episodes that are good if you get distracted easily.
The characters are all familiar from your typical series like Family guys and Simpsons.
I liked how blunt the characters were and overall simple humor after a long day and just wanting to unwind and have a good laugh.

This show is like pasta. On its own kind of bland but it doesn't leave any bad tastes in your mouth. I like the premise even if the Canadian Jingoism annoys me. (I'm not an American but that doesn't mean I am OK with wanton America bashing).
It's funny how a Canadian show needs to have American characters to be interesting. The whole thing is kind of formulaic, the characters are very familiar (the son is basically Lisa Simpson and the older daughter is just another vapid hot girl and the mother is another long suffering housewife). I liked the younger daughter but she is basically a female Stewie Griffin with an Italian American flavor.
There is a ...filthiness...surrounding the show. A feeling of people in quiet desperation that is hard to laugh at.
The stories weren't amazing but they were watchable for a week day but eventually I just found better stuff to watch.
The best part of the show was always at the beginning where they show you a flash back to the process of how they went into witness protection. This little non-linear saga in bite size pieces is actually cool.
I wouldn't explicitly recommend it but it doesn't suck.

Fugget About It is like Family Guy crossed with The Sopranos with a Canadian twist.
The writing is smart, snappy and they kept it that way through 3 seasons. The worst part is the fact this show didn't get a 4th.

At least it's a better show than family guy and American dad.
I wish Fugget about it had a better mainstream run than it did.

I understand the writers know enough about Canadian and Americans to write brilliant satire, but how can they know Sicilians so well? Haha the omertà and malocchio episodes cracked me up. The completely mauled sicilians words are funny too. My guess is that cheech is actually the nickname Ciccio from Francesco. Anyway all the characters are well defined and the gags are awesome. It's a shame that this TV show landed on prime only now

The premise of this is actually quite clever. A New York mobster turns states evidence, rats out his cronies and get's sent into witness protection. But he's sent to Canada for some reason. Cue the fish out of water plot and you have the story.
It's kinda funny but it's not really laugh out loud funny. The best way I can describe this is it's in the vein of Family Guy but with a more linear plot and less fighting a guy in a chicken suit.
The humor is pretty low brow when you get down to it. There's a lot of Canadianisms in it, jabs at America and a Mountie that really seems to reference Dudley Do-Right from the old Bullwinkle cartoon.
Beyond that, I didn't find much reason to come back to this once all the characters were introduced, they're pretty one dimensional and once you get who and what they are there's just nothing else to go back to.
It's pretty standard middle of the road fare.

This show is really stupid, not funny at all and just uses stereotypes and dirty jokes without even being funny about it. Everything about this show is bad and not entertaining at all, just OK animation and bad not funny voice work and bad writing and jokes. Fugget About It!!

The thing is that i do not have time neither the nerve to review stuff on imdb. I have never reviewed anything not even my most favorite films. Seriously its just not my thing. But when I saw the rating of this show i was left terribly shocked! Such a great show with such awful below average rating. Its just not fair. It deserves a whole lot more. i usually check out ratings or reviews before i decide to see a film. and if I hadn't just stumbled upon this show by accident on youtube i never would have watched it cos of such a low rating. But the show is great. Iam a big fan of shows like RICK and Morty and Archer and I also totally loved this show! I would put it above stuff like American Dad. and because Iam such a huge fan of Gangster films, the occasional references are also a treat! Highly recommended to animated siticom fans. But whatever you're tastes are I assure you that this is certainly not 5.4 material.

This show was a sleeper, missing the credit its due for the writing, talent and humour. There are so many little funny comments (or digs at Canada events) you need to pay attention. From the Queen being identified as Spotted Dick to the scams to Uncle Cheech, this show is hillarious. The diverse personalities of each character contribute to a cartoon I l9ve watching.

The idea for this show is actually pretty good but in execution they just use one dimensional cliche Italian stereotype mob characters as well as the cliche of the polite Canadian do-gooder and add a bunch of jokes we've all heard a million times before. Pass.
I am so sad to hear that Fugget About It cancellation is confirmed: the series will not be returning for a Fourth season :(
Still, there could be hope for the show to be picked up by another network, so subscribe below for season Four fanalert to be the first to know when something changes.
See more at: https://episode.guide/season/fugget-about-it-season-s4-schedule-trailer-premiere/
i myself hope that the seasons continue but it is very unlikely ;(

This show really tries to be funny. Like Family Guy (which it is CLEARLY trying to emulate, don't lie to yourself) it goes for a jokes per minute approach to storytelling. Unfortunately the jokes are insultingly simplistic, frequently unclever, bottom of the barrel jokes. The writers give it a good try but seem to be under the impression that crude, foul-mouthed, sexual humor is funny just because it's a cartoon. They often forgo any subtlety or cleverness to make a joke land and just go for the obvious, low hanging fruit punchlines.
Like the foul-mouthed, rambunctious little girl (basically Stewie Griffin or any of the children from South Park) whose only jokes seem to be her saying bad words that get bleeped out or doing over the top things like breaking a bottle and threatening somebody with it. It's funny because she's a little kid and she shouldn't be acting like that!! Get it!? It's funny!!
I can completely understand why this show was cancelled. It got a chance to find its footing and audience and it just couldn't. I honestly think it got one more season than it deserved.
In a world full of adult cartoons like Family Guy, South Park, Rick and Morty, Archer, etc. It tries to be like all of them without bringing anything even remotely original or clever to the table.

Fugget About It is certainly funny, and addictive. The episodes semi- connect with one another, in an American Dad! way - most episodes don't rely on prior episodes for plot, although some main plot lines will carry through from episode to episode.
The humor is low-brow, and the dialogue is spot-on Brooklyn. Those who don't mind toilet humor and foul language as the basis of a joke will enjoy this show. If you are more into Seinfeld humor, look elsewhere.
As a New Yorker, I find Fugget About It entertaining, and the characters are well developed, even if the show is more lazy-boy late night comedy than stimulating drama.
Tl;Dr Imagine Family Guy/American Dad with more cursing and a Brooklyn accent. Worth a watch.

I cant believe how low the ratings are, moved my 8 to a 10 to try and help counter the harsher reviews it does not deserve... and to the reviewer asking what "Canada did to us to deserve this?" - it's a Canadian show; we are a people who lean heavily on self-deprecating humor.
Funnier than American Dad, as "offensive" as All In The Family - Fugget About It is exactly what it promises to be: a spin on a classic fish-out-of-water story. Dust it off and check it out if you have the chance!

Have loved this show since the first episode I watched by accident. Really big fan now. The characters are all fantastic, the voices are perfect, the humour is very Canadian with good jokes, sarcasm, innuendo, visual bits and the storyline of course. I still die laughing at "spotted dick", and the pirate episode, or when Cheech food poisioned the the Saskatchewan Rough Riders with pigeon meat from China.

From lame one-note jokes about how wacky Italians are to toothless jokes about Canada, this show is about as bland as you can get. Every character is unlikable and an awful stereotype of some sort, including the mouthpiece represented in the son character.
It's got awful animation, tasteless character designs, and every joke is "Hurr hurr Italians are all mob goons" and "Hurr hurr Canadians are polite weirdos." Which would be OK, if the jokes about it were any GOOD.
They are not.
They are excessively NOT good.
There is a whole character here whose entire shtick is "Haha I am bulimic, aren't I hilarious."
I do not recommend watching this atrocity of a cartoon.

When I discovered this show I just finished watching the 'Lilly Hammer" show and was looking for the next "Sopranos" itch. Then this show popped up in my search bar. And to be honest I thought I discovered a long lost show that no one saw yet as it was cancelled. But then when I told my friends about it everyone seems to have seen it. It's an amazing show about the Mafia cliche but oh so entertaining.

I was on Hulu today looking for something to watch and this was recommended to me by Hulu, based on what I do not know. I decided to give it a shot, and I'm shocked at how bad this show is. I'm insulted that Hulu thinks I would like this and I will seriously have to look at other things I have viewed more closely because they must think I'm a cretin. The animation is terrible for one, similar to Total Drama Island but somehow it doesn't work for this show. Who on Earth chose the voice actors I don't know. The only thing missing is Fran Dreshcer whining her way through dialog to make it worse. It's one tasteless joke about Italians after another, blah blah were are in the mob,and hairy and low class and violent criminals, but ain't we adorable ? Not one character is likable or even someone you would want to encounter in real life. This show is lazy writing at best, and racist at worst. I gave two episodes a shot and I didn't laugh once. Even the theme song is a travesty! I have a good a sense of humor and an open mind but this show pushes the limits of bad taste. Also what the hell is with the Dudley Do Right character ? What did Canada ever do to us to deserve this ?

Have you ever seen a movie or show and you said to yourself, my God, that's so good I don't know why it hasn't blown up all over the world....... That's this.
Fugget About It was a great Canadian animated comedy and I watched it from the very beginning! I miss it more everytime I see an old episode 👍
The ratings low because this hasn't been reviewed enough. Stumbled across this on amazon prime. I was a fan of Brickleberry, and the new Paradise PD on netflix made by the same people. Its stupid, its very non PC its racist, classiest and every other thing that im sure the college kids would hate. Funny thing when I was in college it was the subversion humor like The young ones, Monty Python, SNL (to a point) the Simpsons when they first came out and of course South park. Adult Swim came along in the 90's so it started reaching a bigger audience. I had never heard of this I would put it basically along side Brickleberry their isn't much cohesion to each show its just one off jokes but in College I ate this stuff up, No thinking just laugh.
