When Yuzu comes back to life and Byakuya leaves the tent to find medical help, a guard runs up and asks him what's wrong. This is the same man who was guarding Rukia and had the medicine dropped on his forehead by Hanatarou to knock him out in Season 2 episode 19 "The Shinigami whom Ganju Met"(episode 40 overall) of the TV series.
This anime film is located chronologically after the episode of Theatre Opening Commemoration! Hell Chapter: Prologue (2010) and before the episode of Urahara Appears! Stop Aizen! (2010) from Bleach (2004).
