The episode depicts the 'Aucasaurus' as having sharp claws on its forelimbs. In real life, the arms of these animals were so puny and underdeveloped, that they actually lacked claws. What more, some scientists argue that they didn't even have fingers. However this cannot be considered a legit goof, since the discovery was made after the show had been finished.

Goofs
Carcharodontosaurus is not known from any South American fossil sites, only from Africa, yet in this episode, it is shown living in ancient South America. The creators should have chosen Giganotosaurus: a strikingly similar and equally giant dinosaur, which is known to have lived in that area. In fact these two animals look so similar that such an easy solution as switching out their names in the narration could have solved the problem.
