John Cena proved he has some singing chops in “Ricky Stanicky,” but alas, he doesn’t sing in his new film “Jackpot!” Don’t worry though, the soundtrack still has plenty of winners.
Now streaming on Prime Video, the Paul Feig film — set in the not-so-distant future — follows Katie Kim (Awkwafina), who recently moved to Los Angeles in the hopes of becoming an actor. During an audition, she quite literally wins the lottery. The thing is, the lottery works a bit differently in this version of LA.
Here, whoever wins has to make it to sundown — literally, physically make it to the end of the day alive. Anyone who didn’t win is allowed to legally murder the lottery winner and take over their winnings. Katie, of course, doesn’t know this, having lived in a bit of a bubble in the Midwest for various reasons.

Grief is a very personal emotion, and that’s what Money Heist fans had to realize when Season 5B roared back into our lives Friday on Netflix.
The premiere opened with the Bella Ciao bandits mourning the loss of Tokyo, who valiantly died taking out a handful of Spanish Army soldiers and that murderous monster Gandia. Sagasta lied and said Tokyo killed the lady soldier as well when she pulled those grenade pins, but that wounded woman is somewhere in hiding, waiting to pounce.

By the dawn of the Seventies, the protest song was considered as much a relic of the previous decade as the word “groovy,” with notable exceptions like Edwin Starr’s “War,” Neil Young’s “Ohio,” and Bob Dylan’s “George Jackson.” As Arlo Guthrie told Rolling Stone this summer, “The music business went from figuring out how they could make some money selling protest songs to realizing, ‘Well, they don’t really sell that well, so we’ll move on to something else.’ Which they did.”

The O'Jays are reaching out to President Trump -- perhaps repairing their fractured relationship -- and giving him permission to use One of their songs at his rallies. Yes, it's a total troll. We got Eddie Levert and Walter Williams -- Og members of the soul group -- out in NYC and asked what they made of Rihanna ripping into Trump for playing "Don't Stop the Music" at a recent rally. She later sent him a cease and desist letter.

The '70s classic "For the Love of Money" should no longer be associated with Donald Trump ... if The O'Jays get their way. Of course, the song has been the 'Apprentice' theme for years now -- but soul music legends, The O'Jays just sent a cease and desist letter to Trump and Florida Rep. John Mica. The group is particularly upset about a video posted by the congressman praising Donald's involvement in a D.C. real estate deal.

Remember Jonathan Lipnicki? You know, that adorable little kid with the quirky glasses who stole our hearts opposite Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire. Well, the former child star turns a whopping 25 today and, while we've honestly never felt older, this is also a perfectly reasonable time for us to note just how darn cute he still is! Going on two decades since the towheaded charmer taught us a thing or two about human heads and bunny rabbits when he was only 5 years old, Lipnicki continues to act. After starring in family friendly favorites Stuart Little and Like Mike in the early 2000s, the birthday boy made his return to the silver screen in 2012 with For the Love of Money,...

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. • I Timothy 6:10
Vast marketplaces, comic conventions these days, and that has its upside, certainly. You get to complete your collections by visiting the used comics dealers and maybe see something you didn’t know exists but would enjoy owning and out comes the wallet or, increasingly, the credit card and the deal is done.
I don’t want to get all new-agey on you, but I think it’s good for us to interact with the universe of which we’re a part and money is a way to do that; you’re exchanging whatever effort got you the money for food, clothing, shelter, comic books…you know –life’s necessities All good.
The problem comes when money ceases too be a medium of exchange and becomes an end in itself.
But don’t you dare take my word for it!
