This movie is about a teenage boy with a lot of unresolved emotional issues.
Zay is boy who flips and flops between anger and kindness. His constant struggle between the two stems from a, what I would call, fear of the unknown reason why his twin brother died when they were infants/toddlers. He feels short changed by his father and his mother, who are both constant in their delays to tell him about the death of his brother. He is plagued with mental disturbances that include hearing voices, suicidal and infantile behaviors all while leading a group of fellow teens in a "brotherhood" that also flips between being big brothers and gangsters. As his social and family relationships slip further into turmoil, his mental state begins to unravel even more.
This movie is low budget and really choppy. There is an underlying message to this movie and while I get it, I do not understand the journey. I had some difficulty understanding some of the reasons for some scenes. There was some ok acting but nothing to rave about. The script is a bit shaky and not very well written even though the story is actually rather decent. Being someone who is willing to watch low budget in an attempt to find some hidden gems, I can say that this story is ok but the movie needs some work. It is better than a lot of others I have seen and I will give credit where credit is due for that reason. If you can follow along and get pass the choppy nature give it a go.

This movie is low budget and disorganized. A twin exposed to a co-twin loss at birth are considerably elevated risk of psychiatric disorders, especially emotional disorders, such as depression and anxiety. Despite seeing that he was in agony, Zayvian parents did not tell him the truth about his twin brother's passing, which continued to haunt him because he was told all his life he was responsible. They contributed to his suicide. Although his mother was worried, she made the decision that maintaining her husband's good reputation was more essential than speaking the truth. I wish the movie was better because it had an important story to tell. One that entertains, educates, and inspires.
