I was privileged enough to get to see this when it first came out, and I fell in love with it right away. The social commentary touches on something we've all wrestled with at one time or another, how to separate the art from the artist, and whether it's even possible, when the artist is revealed to have done horrible, unforgivable things.

So the message itself was compelling, but I also loved all of the songs. I'm usually not one for musicals, unless they're really funny, and this was just the perfect mix. The writing is superb, and the songs are all so catchy.

I'd watched this a few times upon its release, but when I went back to find it about a year later, it had completely disappeared from the world wide web. It was nowhere to be found. I was kind of freaking out, because that should not be allowed to happen with such a great piece of work.

Thankfully I decided to do another search for it today, almost five years later, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was back on the Film and Video Umbrella's website to watch, so needless to say, I did so immediately.

If you get a chance to watch this short film, please do it. The message is compelling, the music is funny and catchy, and it's really one of those hidden gems that the world needs. I'm so happy to have found it again.
