The Crusher (Reginald Lisowski) was the guest ring announcer for the Ultimate Warrior-Bobby Heenan match, though this was never acknowledged on camera. The show was held in Milwaukee, which was Crusher's town, as his nickname was "The Wrestler That Made Milwaukee Famous." Crusher had been an enemy of Heenan's going back to the 1960s, as Crusher was the one who gave Heenan the nickname "The Weasel."
Four matches were cut for the Coliseum VHS release: Big Boss Man vs Scott Casey, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake vs Hercules, King Haku vs Sam Houston, and "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase for the WWF Championship. The first three matches were later shown on the WWF Prime Time Wrestling television show and the championship match was shown on the Macho Madness VHS release.
The Killer Bees had one of their last matches for the WWE during this live event.
In addition to the matches that were edited from the video release, a match between Mr. Perfect and the Red Rooster was also excluded.
The only "Wrestlefest" video release that's taken from a live event.
