The hokey intros by the 'Archivist' is the best part of this anthology. Although apparently made in 2010, looks like low budget 70's American fare. At least the old British anthologies had some class. The first two 'stories' feature dismemberment and skin removal, that's about it. The third story is marginally better. It starts with '2077' lettered over the screen to let us know it's the future. With no budget that's how you have to suggest the future, along with a character talking about the 50 years ago apocalypse over a radio. A guy with a gas mask explores a compound, gets a few jump scares, sees a ghost and, well, I guess telling the unoriginal ending would be considered a spoiler. Still terrible but it at least had some suspense.

The archivist says, "this book is my curse." He isn't exaggerating. This is bad writing, acting. It's just bad.

The stories don't make much sense. It's very low budget. Some bits are laughably bad but not enough for it to be worth watching.

I usually like a good horror anthology, even if it happens to be low budget. Howevever, this movie is the pits.
I can't really spoil it because it was so bad I had to come here on imdb to write a review immediately after the second of three stories in the anthology. I stopped watching it after the second story. The scripts were horribly put together, the acting was lacking talent and was bland, and the two stories I had watched were both covering the same concept: a person gets killed and comes back from the dead.
If you want to go to sleep, or just want something for background noise as your attention is driven elsewhere, then this is the movie for you. It is not very good at all in my opinion. 2/10.

Anthology of Terror NR/ 44 Min/ CC 2010 The Orchard/ English Director/Producer: Ryan Thompson Screenwriter: Matthew O'Day Stars: Stephen Grey Erin Courtney
This film promises, and delivers chills and scares. Low budget. Decent story lines.
The Archivist brings you four terrifying tales sure to keep you on the edge of your seat, and listening for every not-so-familiar bump in the night. Decent acting with believable story line. Robbery, murder and mayhem. Blood, guts and gore. Enjoyable tales for a cold, dark evening!
I give this Five Stars!
And a big Thumbs Up!
