What would you do if your husband of many years (whom you weren't particularly fond of) passed away and you were left with a bunch of old photos of the two of you together? If your answer is "cut out photos of Leonardo DiCaprio and paste them all over my late husband's face," then we have someone you should meet. On Sunday, Reddit user Greentechbuilder posted the above photo on Reddit, writing, "My friends Grandma's house. She put a magazine cut out of Leonardo DiCaprio over her late (not so nice) husband's face. The 80+ year old's version of photoshop." Savage? Maybe, but in our humble opinion, this kind of pettiness should be admired. At the moment, Leo is dating Victoria's Secret model Nina Agdal, but here's hoping he gives this hilarious, artistic grandma a call.

A Minneapolis family of five was killed in a car crash on Sunday on their way to a training session in Colorado to become missionaries. Jamison and Kathryne Pals, both 29, were passing through Nebraska with their three small children, Ezra, 3, Violet, 23 months, and Calvin, 2 months, when a semi-trailer vehicle rammed into the family's minivan. Both vehicles immediately combusted - and the entire Pals family died at the scene. "We knew they were leaving to go to training," Kathryne's father, Gordy Engel, tells People. Another sign that The Simpsons transcends television: Video game developer GumpyFunction has created real-life versions of three fictional video games written into the long-running animated series. As A.V. Club reports (via Reddit), hardcore Simpsons fans can now laugh their way through approximations of Kevin Costner's Waterworld (inspired by the gag from Season Eight's "The Springfield Files"), the Battletoads-styled Escape From Grandma's House (from Season Two classic "Bart Gets an F") and the 8-bit punch-up Larry the Looter (from Season Three's "Radio Bart").

*full disclosure: an unfinished online screener was provided by the director. Director/writer: Jason Dudek. Cast: Taylor Handley, Danny Glover, Vinnie Jones and Margo Harshman. Toxin is the latest film from director Jason Dudek. The film is a dramatic science fiction thriller, involving the use of viruses. Lacking any real horror, the film focuses on dramatic elements as Dean (Taylor Handley) struggles to keep his friends alive. Very slow in its delivery, Toxin builds towards a fairly predictable climax. The outcome is slightly flat. As well, characters act unbelievably and possibly suicidally. Toxin is an indie film that lacks polish in the script and onscreen. The film begins with Dean. He has returned from a tour in the Middle East. His friends gather together for a party and later a camping trip. But, Grandma needs Dean's help. Soon, the group of friends are heading up to Grandma's house, with the...

New BBC Three prison-set sitcom Crims, which starts tonight at 9pm, has plenty of Inbetweeners-style fun going for it...
There's an old turn of phrase that goes 'with friends like these, who needs enemies?'. It's also the first thing on Luke's mind when he's arrested for being an unwitting getaway driver for Jason, his girlfriend's brother. Sentenced to two years at Sunnybank Young Offenders Institution, Luke (played by Welsh comedian Elis James) wastes no time at all in making enemies of Marcel, the Twilight obsessed big dog. Now he's needing all the friends he could get, even wide-eyed idiot Jason.
BBC three's Crims is a new sitcom created and written by musical comedian Adam Kay and Grandma's House co-scribe Dan Swimer. 'It's an odd couple sitcom that just happens to be set in a prison' explains Adam. 'We started off with the Luke and Jason, establishing their relationship. Then...

The screenwriting credits for "Sex Tape" imply that Kate Angelo wrote the initial drafts and that Jason Segel and Nicholas Stoller came in to bat clean-up once Segel was on the film as an actor. I'm not sure that's exactly how it went down, but it would explain the occasional lurch from tone to tone that is part of what keeps "Sex Tape" from working completely. As set-ups for farce go, "Sex Tape" has a perfectly functional one. Jay (Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) have been married long enough that they're finding their sex lives have bottomed out completely. It's a very real challenge that parents and other married couples face, especially after you have several children in the house. Jay works in the music industry and Annie writes a popular mommy blog which she may be able to sell to a much larger company. I liked that they didn't...

The Britain's Got Talent judge says she was attacked by an unnamed comic, 21st-century comics grapple with homosexuality, and David Brent realises his rock-god dreams
Not much to laugh about in today's top story, as Amanda Holden writes in her autobiography that she was once assaulted by "a famous comedian". The Britain's Got Talent judge claims she was cornered by the unnamed comic at a public event, during a period when she was patching up her marriage to Les Dennis after an affair with Men Behaving Badly star Neil Morrissey. "[Dennis and I] went to an event together," Holden writes, "and on my way back from the loo, I was cornered by a famous comedian, who tried to kiss me and put his hands in places they shouldn't have been. I was scared and tried to push him away … but he wasn't put off … My body went limp, and I just stood there...

James Wan and Leigh Whannell's bonkers supernatural horror Insidious was one of 2011's most profitable films, with final box office nearly hundred times its meagre budget. It saw Rose Byrne and Patrick Wilson battling forces from dungeon dimension 'The Further' - including a woman in a black wedding dress and a crimson puppet master with a peculiar fondness for Tiny Tim records - and without wishing to offend the spoiler cry-babies, its ending certainly left scope for more. Naturally, the money meant there was immediately talk of a sequel, but all involved insisted they wouldn't do it unless they had a really good idea. And inspiration clearly struck, because here we are with the first full trailer for Insidious: Chapter 2.Patrick Wilson informs us the family is now living at Grandma's house, where "nothing's going to bother us". Let's see how that works out. We already know it...

After she had the heart attack out in Michigan on Thanksgiving 1988, I stood by her bedside in the recovery room and she tried so hard to tell me something, but it just didn't work. I loved her so much. Did she know how much? I never told her. There are always questions you wish you'd asked after it's too late to get an answer. Sometimes years can pass before you realize they're questions.
Everyone said I "took after her," and I did. My features are more rounded than anyone else on either side of my family. Martha R. Regardless of where your anticipation for new “The Simpsons” episodes stands, one aspect of the show most agree is still strong is in its irreverent gallery of made-up brands, store names, and products. Names like Java The Hut and Bloodbath And Beyond hold a special place in the show's 24-year history, and College Humor have now paid proper tribute by focusing on just the range of video games on display. Even from the early episodes, Matt Groening and his team of writers nailed the tone straight away with Bart playing games like “Super Slugfest,” “Touch of Death,” and him earning the level of Ungrateful Grandchild in “Escape from Grandma's House.” The show slowly turned its satirical sights on film as well: Witness Martin choosing between "trenchant insight" and "bon mot" in the arcade version of “My Dinner With Andre,” and Milhouse losing 40 quarters to Kevin Costner's “Waterworld” game. The...

Simon Amstell has ruled out a third series of Grandma's House. Speaking to BBC Radio 1, the comedian and actor said it would be wrong to carry on with the BBC Two sitcom. The "Paranormal Activity" movies are credited with taking the terror out of art-directed dungeons and dilapidated bathrooms and putting it right smack dab in the middle of our bedrooms. The "Saw" series raised a white flag of surrender after "Paranormal Activity" took most of the Halloween box office dollars in 2009, bringing an end to Jigsaw's legacy and returning us to the land of lo-fi horror.
Since then, the "Paranormal" series has become something of its own "Saw"-sized franchise, with the fourth installment set to hit theaters this Friday. Somewhat unfortunately (though probably inevitably), the more this decades-spanning haunted house tale expands and explains its increasingly silly mythology, the less scary and interesting it becomes — though we have to give props to the producers for maintaining the low-budget, "found footage" aesthetic that the first film incorporated so brilliantly.

Tracy-Ann Oberman has said that there has been a discovery of a British Jewish comedy voice in TV and movies in recent years. The Monroe actress returns to Friday Night Dinner to reprise the role of Val, the best friend of mum Jackie (Tamsin Greig). "All the references, especially in comedy, had come from America," Oberman told Digital Spy about openly Jewish characters in British culture. "From the old-style comics - you think of Lenny Bruce, Woody Allen, Jerry Seinfeld, Larry David, all of that. "The only characters in this country who were Jewish were Fagin, Shylock, Dr Legg in EastEnders and Maureen Lipman's BT character." Oberman continued: "There's suddenly been a change, with David Baddiel's film The Infidel, then you had Grandma's House and Friday Night Dinner. "Then (more)...

Los Angeles, May 3: Singer Jennifer Lopez says she will take her children for her joint summer tour with Enrique Iglesias.
"They'll be on the bus and it's gonna be a learning experience for both of us," Lopez said in a press conference.
"Luckily, there's always Grandma's house, if they get really tired and stir-crazy," she was quoted as saying by contactmusic.com.
The tour begins July 14 in Montreal and will end in August.
Talking about the show, Lopez said: "We have all the creative control to make it what my fans would want to see. The songs that they would wanna see, the dances.

Los Angeles -- Jennifer Lopez, Enrique Iglesias and Wisin Y Yandel are touring together this summer.
Lopez and Iglesias announced Monday in Los Angeles that the 20-city Mega concert tour will begin July 14 in Montreal.
"We are going to give you everything we got," Lopez said. "I think it's going to be one of the most historic tours ever. Because I don't know that there has ever been something ... where these Latinos have come together like this as family."
Iglesias said the tour will include individual hits as well as collaborative performances. "I have a bunch of songs with Wisin Y Yandel and obviously with Jennifer," he told the crowd.
Lopez said her 4-year-old twins, Max and Emme, will also be on the tour bus.
And if they get stir crazy? "There's always Grandma's house," she said.

Simon Amstell has revealed that he and co-star Oliver Coopersmith kiss in next week's opening episode of Grandma's House. Amstell, who plays himself, will embrace teenager Mark (Coopersmith) in an improvised bathroom scene in the BBC sitcom. Speaking about the moment, the comic told What's on TV: "I said to the director, 'Should I tell the actor that I don't fancy him?' And she was like, 'No that's rude, don't say that!' "But the actor was really cool about it and we called each other dude quite a lot. But he was a lovely kisser. I just kissed him how I'd normally kiss someone. "Simon sort of gets kissed as opposed to instigating it, so I could appear a bit tense and anxious about it so that was (more)...

Simon Amstell has admitted that his sitcom Grandma's House was met with a mixed reaction. The show, which returns for a second series on April 19, divided critics when it aired in late 2010. "I think it was a really unclear reaction," Amstell told What's On TV. "At first people didn't know what it was - was it a comedy or was it a drama? "At first, I didn't know whether I would have to leave the country in shame but I'm still here, I guess, so it must've been Ok in the end." The comedian also admitted that he finds it "funny" addressing criticisms of his performance (more)...

With apologies to the Big Bad Wolf: My, what "Big Eyes" Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Reynolds have.
Not literally, of course. But according to indieWire, Witherspoon and Reynolds have both just signed on to play the husband and wife team of Margaret and Walter Keane in the upcoming non-romcom biopic "Big Eyes."
Looks like Grandma's house just got a little bit of star power.
If you haven't heard of the Keanes, here's a quick refresher course in the ups and downs of modern art. Back in the late 1950's, the couple rose to fame for their extremely creepy series of paintings depicting children with enormous, blackly staring dead eyes. For some reason, this became a big hit. After the couple got a divorce, though, things went sour pretty quickly for one simple reason: Margaret apparently was doing all the actual painting while Walter was taking all the credit.

Veganism is a first-world problem, according to Anthony Bourdain. The "No Reservations" host had this and much more to say in an interview for Playboy's November issue. Some of the more fascinating quotes:
On how men can impress women with their cooking: Learn how to cook a [redacted] omelet. I mean, what nicer thing can you do for somebody than make them breakfast? [...] The way you make an omelet reveals your character."
On vegetarians: "They make for bad travelers and bad guests. The notion that before you even set out to go to Thailand, you say, 'I'm not interested,' or you're unwilling to try things that people take so personally and are so proud of and so generous with, I don't understand that, and I think it's rude. You're at Grandma's house, you eat what Grandma serves you."

Director/writer: Andrew Cymek.
Cast: William B. Davis, John Rhys-Davies, Mercedes McNab, and Brigitte Kingsley.
Medium Raw aka Medium Raw: Night of the Wolf is a Canadian shot horror film. This feature was shown on television in 2010, with Anchor Bay Entertainment set to release this title on DVD August 16th. The film retells the ancient German legend of Little Red Riding Hood with a twist. Horror is always great for twist endings. Actor John Rhys-Davies is under utilized in his role and the updating of this children's tale is enhanced by the costume department. As well, Medium Raw introduces not one villain, but four. This is a slow building horror title, with some interesting action sequences in the final scenes.
This is the second film which has offed actor John Rhys-Davies in the first quarter of the film. The other film was Ferocious Planet (2011) and here Rhys-Davies plays Elliot Carbon.

Spoiler alert: I've got a killer segue lined up for the transition from "Jamie's Dream School" to "South Riding"! You're going to love it. That being said, on to the programmes.
Jamie's Dream School
The prog that everyone's talking about right now in Britain is "Jamie's Dream School", a title that puts the 'moron' in 'oxymoron'. Indeed, the weird establishment staffed by celebrities for drop-out students, under the watchful eye of the Naked Chef himself, is so far from being a dream school that I caught myself humming 'Gangsta's Paradise' halfway through the first episode.
So the idea of "Dream School" is that Jamie Oliver, drawing on the experience that saw him revolutionise school dinners for ten minutes back in 2005, gets some cool slebs to sort out the youngsters and inspire them and turn their lives around, or something like that. So he has David Starkey, the famous(ly pompous and creepy) historian,...
