This is one of those embarrassments that makes you feel sorry for everyone involved. Horrid camera work makes it look like a cheap daytime soap opera, what passes as cinematography is a joke, and the acting is ham-fisted and laughable. The worst offender is the director, as he obviously lacks any real talent in the use of camera work to tell a decent visual story. The only saving grace in this abomination was the special effects work, but that's like saying that one piece of a turd does not smell as bad as the rest of it. Just an overall shoddy production that does not deserve anyone's time or patience. A third rate production in ever sense of the word, hopefully this "movie" will be as quickly forgotten as it deserves to be.

OK, so let's get this out of the way first. This movie is extremely low budget. It looks bad. Very bad. The villain is acted absurdly over the top, and a lot of the movies good ideas are hampered by the filmmakers having to work around amazingly low budget restraints. And some things just look fake.
That said, if you're a fan of both horror and werewolf movies who doesn't mind a cheap look, there is some enjoyment to be had with this. In fact, I didn't hate the movie and kind of wanted to give it a higher rating than I did.
The movie, despite its many glaring flaws, if you can get by them, has a lot of good ideas and really has a well thought out story. It's a unique and interesting take on werewolves that I really haven't seen before. And I honestly think that if someone were to look at this movie and borrow some ideas from it, the end product could be great.
In the end though, this movie isn't good. The acting for the most part is passable, it does have a good story, and there are a lot of good ideas in here. But there are just so many glaring flaws that hit you hard right off the bat and never go away that I really can't give it any higher than a 4/10.

Lauren, a high school nerdy type girl, apparently suffers from a disease passed down through her mother's family that means should she ever consume meat then she will become a werewolf for the remainder of her life and crave blood every Full Moon. So the only way to avoid this is to be a strict vegetarian! Well, it's inventive, I'll grant the film makers that! Needless to say she does become one, otherwise we wouldn't have much of a story. Stephanie Hullar does play the part well. Sadly the same can't be said for most of the cast, we have some really wooden acting here. It's also incredibly boring at times, with a few bits of gore thrown in to keep us awake. Very predictable. Pay no attention to the dubious high scoring reviews on here. I made this my first film of 2018. Bad choice!

I would mirror the other reviews on here Yes it really is that bad . wooden acting actors wait for there Que to then deliver there lines ,terrible terrible sound audio goes quiet then loud and sometimes cuts out altogether, picture quality is horrendous as others have said like a 1980's American TV 480 by 576 ntsc then converted into pal if you are from a pal country you will know what i mean, plot and story written by a college student and also the camera work as well ,the only star i can give is for the very limited special effects and they weren't CGI . if this was done by a college student then it would be a good effort and would probably be granted an A but for a feature film its a U for ungraded .

Remember: This is a low budget movie and you should give the movie some slack. Especially at the beginning, it might take you some time to accept what this is. Or the characters in it. One in particular is so cliché it might hurt you watching this. Not as much hurting though as is going to happen to people involved in this.
It might not be the best special effects, it might not have the best camera and some of the acting is way off. The script and direction has its flaws too of course. But I and some of the reviewers here are giving it the benefit of the doubt. It tries to tell a story and it does a decent job. Only if you give way as mentioned before. Not a masterpiece by a mile

For those who can't appreciate a film without the high-budget, car explosions, bells and whistles, go watch some other mindless blockbuster... This film has an exceptional cast. This is a beginner film— LOW budget! This must be kept in mind... they don't have Spielberg's connections or financial means. Great acting and craft reflects well regardless.
Excellent job, everyone involved in this film. This was very creative and well-done! As a film-buff, I found this film to be quite refreshing. The directorship was unique and original, and I appreciate the cinematography, in general! The film itself is wonderfully chilling and mesmerizing. Some parts were also comical. The cast is credible and all did great in their respective roles. Torey Widener was particularly excellent in his performance. I am very excited for future projects!

This is not a big Hollywood production with all of the shiny bells and whistles. It's a no budget, horror flick complete with crappy picture quality. It does, however, have a rather original and interesting story line, which is not common in Hollywood big budgets these days. If you are into the old B horror films like "The Blob" you may get a kick out of this, but if you are looking for a Star Wars type you will be sorely disappointed. I actually thought the acting was quite good for a B horror flick, especially the lead actress, Stephanie Hullar, who plays Lauren Redd. A no/low budget film makes it hard for an actor to look good, but she pulls it off. It has some nice special effects for a low budget. It also has an interesting twist on the idea of werewolves. I think it's a great film for those who are into the old horror films. It's the kind I would expect to see on the old Friday Fright Night shows.

This movie is fun from start to finish. A very great rendition of a fairy tale that everybody knows, and is adapted to modern times. I love the FX throughout the movie, top notch. You can tell by the artistry that the FX were done by a seasoned professional. The story has twists and turns that I had no idea were coming. Lots of pleasant surprises especially the ones that catered to fans of the genre, like me. I highly recommend this film. A lot of work and heart put into this you can tell. Even the name is awesome "BLOOD REDD"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not spoiling with details but I loved the ending... VERY COOL... I am looking forward to what the director Brad Palmer has next up his sleeve for a project. I am a fan...

OK, so I've watched this 3 times now. Yes, it's a low budget 80's retro horror film. But I love it! It's destined to become a cult classic. Somehow the new high tech movies lose some of that surreal character that I love so much. Too much special effects, too much editing. Blood Redd is raw. It has a unique plot, classic horror acting, and a great, original finale. Cult classic! I wish that there were more movies made like this today. Think Rocky Horror! Love it! I expect that we will see this cast again. They nailed it. The gay guy creeped me out, and the werewolf girl stole the show. I hope that they make a few more of these before the cast moves to the higher budget film. That happens too often. Please crank out a "Blood Redd Too", and "Blood Redd Again" sequels. Keep this story going pleeeease! Maybe have the sequels in several different cities and the girls travels to the next city whenever she gets hungry. Surprised by the end and that was awesome! Watch it again!
