Bold attempt of making Biopic of one of great poets of moden India by very young director who born probably after 2 decades Kavisamrat Sri Visaanatha Satyanarayana Garu breathed his last. Some of the dialogues are really astonishing, thought provoking and well crafted. L. B. Sriram Garu portrayed the leading role in such a way that current generation may believe that LB Sri Ram Garu himself is actual Kavisamrat like Lord Ram or Krishna means Sr. NTR Garu for Telugu people. Sampath, young actor who donned Padmanabham character, late RNR justified their roles well. Film should have been little lengthier to introduce on few more works of the great poet. Over all the movie is pleasing experience for History or Telugu Literature loving viewers.

Movie is like a meal where the Chef (Savit) is serving the audience with classical Indian Spices in the western dominated society. Looking forward for more these kind of flicks from Savit.

Bedazzled by the near 1.5 hour extravaganza scripted and directed by Telugu whiz kid Savith , I sit down now to write about my movie "experience". Yes, kavisamrat is not just a film, it's an expeirence; a triumph of savith vision and innovation. It is actually a 1.5 hour spectacle out of which we get to see only the first part as Kavisamrat
Savith takes the story outline from Disney 's 'Lion King', indianises it with characters inspired from Mahabharata ( the epic not the TV series) and presents it on a lavish scale in league of 'Lord of the Rings' . The end result is a magnum opus never seen before in Indian cinema.
Technically, the movie is outstanding and every money spent (It's said to be most expensive Indian film) on the mind blowing CGI and VFX reflects on screen. The last hour war sequence matches the grandeur of '300' with possibly just a tenth of that movie's budget. Content wise too, the film connects with its audience and quite a few scenes stand out.
The kavisamrat part 2 ' is still a year away. Please bring it earlier, if possible.... Jukenga ny....
