Kio Kakazu's life takes a space-aimed turn when Eris, a captain of an alien race, comes to Earth on a mission to establish connections between humans and her people, the Catians. Together with Kio's childhood friend Manami, teleport-capable Aoi and a team of cute capable robots, they face off against fanatical alien worshipers and a mysterious government agency, as well as the Catians' biggest enemy.
If you are into to furries specifically cat girls I guess this anime might be for you.
For what it's worth I thought the story was decent however it relied to much on fan service. The intro was great as well and the dub was excellent.

When they first released this anime on Crunchyroll more than a decade ago, I recall being blown away by the animation and character designs of cast and it still does that...for the first several episodes until it appears the budget dried up and obvious long pans, stills, and recycling rear their ugly heads.
The animation quality tanking and money-saving measures is a damn shame because the show works when it's at its horniest - beautiful and painstaking in the nude scenes of the early episodes.
All the usual suspects appear: cat ears, huge milkers, plug suits, food-closeups, cig-smoking scientist, fast-food chomping American, gun porn, glamours car chases, etc. Sadly, even the fan service fades by later episodes which means the series has to lean on the played out harem tropes of a mediocre MC and his crew of hopelessly infatuated love interests, incredibly low stakes, and surprising lack of laughs or chemistry among the cast other than between Aoi and Manami.
If you're into standard harem, checkout the fan service of the first three and last episode, and outro animation.

Horrible, people who have watched this show need to get a museum dedicated to teaching future generations about this shows horrors. It is horrible, the plot makes no sense, starts off with cat girls from space, then they get attacked by terrorists even though no one knows of there existence, then they fight a religion based on them which is run by a rich girl with a battleship, then dogs from space team up with the US military and try to kill them, the UN invades Russia with US tanks (only tanks no men or aircraft), the main character can make matter, and magic is real. No explanation, they even spend 15 minutes introducing a character in a mech suit fighting terrorists and never mention her again. This show is should replace water-boarding as an interrogation technique.

A series that includes a sexy cat woman and her municipals, a clueless nerd, a ruthless assassin with a pure heart, a former secret agent, a barmy uncle with military experience, deranged cultists and villainous dog people, would in most instances never work, and despite the original episode been rather difficult to fathom, the show, outrageously enough, becomes an entertainingly enjoyable ride soon after.
When it comes to Japanese Anime, it seems many people think of Pokemon, or Ghost in the Shell, and though there are animations directed towards young and adult audiences alike, there is another variety specifically targeting fan boys and adolescents with rampaging hormones. Similar to Date A Live, Heaven's Lost Property, Sekirei and Akiba's Trip Undead and Undressed, among many others, Cat Planet Cuties is not a show destined to be loved by all.
But for those who don't mind raunchy humor, occasional nudity, flirtatious references, sexually themed conversations and women bickering over their unanimous feelings for a certain someone, then this program will undoubtedly enthuse. Although none of the episodes are capable of going a full 21 minutes without articulating a reference to women's chests, unlike other programs, this occasionally seems more tasteful than vulgar. Although women are more often than not stereotyped as gorgeous babes with massive chests, the show does note on more than one occasion how one's inner beauty is most important.
Cat Planet Cuties follows Kio, a genuine nerd with a good heart and an even better mind, however when it comes to the ladies, he is ridiculously clueless. Already, this premise sounds familiar to other Anime in the genre, but wait! All of a sudden, Eris, who is the female embodiment of every Manga loving, cos-playing geek's fantasy, pounces into his life, and decides that for the duration of her stay, his place of residence will be her home away from home. Originally from the planet Catia, Eris has cute little ears, a long slender tail, and curves in all the right places - and she's just invited many of her friends over to play. With a combination of high ranking cat women and cute kitten assist-droids, Kio is sure to have his hands full.
On a minor level, Cat Planet Cuties could be representative of female empowerment, with a cast of strong women who are as smart as they are adept at self-defense. Comparative again to other Anime, rather than the lead male chasing after the girls, it is the other way round, which leads to a series of often humorous confrontations as alien and human alike bicker over their desires for romance.
When it comes to Anime on TV, graphics always vary. In the case of Cat Planet Cuties, the resolution is certainly near the top of the spectrum, with a brilliant use of color, and beautiful animation sequences. The soundtrack especially adds to the invigorating flavor, the opening and outro themes efficaciously illustrating the romantic ideas continuously been played upon.
With a combination of super sexy women, entertaining action scenarios, sci-fi spoofs, and hilarious sequences, I only wish there were more episodes of Cat Planet Cuties, which unfortunately only ever saw one season. This aside, tonight, why not curl up with kitty and watch intergalactic space divas with pussycat ears and tails fight for peace and equilibrium on Earth!

It's a shame this didn't have more seasons because this was a fun show to watch. It would've been nice to see more Eris and shipmates antics as well as hopefully see lip turn back into a human again after the last episode. This was an interesting show to watch.
It goes without saying but if you like cat girls and harems than you'll like this for sure. Hop on in and see for yourself.

I think the whole thing was just rubbish. I thought the English Dub voice actor for the main character Kio was definitely not a perfect fit. Whereas the girls voice actors were fair enough and that was the kind of part I just couldn't understand. Honestly to whoever choose the English voice actors, should've has his ears or eyes cleaned!!
Yeah I know well I could switch to sub instead but the animation and the story just didn't do me justice to watch more of the anime. Sorry to the fans who will dislike my review but this anime was a disappointment!!!
