Other episodes are fine but last episode was so close to reality.
Nagraj Manjule is actor, writer and director of the episode and he has done a brilliant job.

In Unpaused Naya Safar, there are total 5 episodes/stories which are not connected with one another. The only thing common between them is that all of these stories has taken place in the current COVID pandemic situation. Like all other anthologies this suffers from the same thing. This has also some good but forgettable & some great segments. So, the 1st, 3rd and 4th segments are not that good. Among these 3rd one is quite enjoyable, others are just okay.
Now come the 2nd one (War Room), the concept of this segment was very good and Geetanjali Kulkarni acted brilliantly as always. Now come to the best among all, the 5th one, Vaikunth shows the real picture of India during this pandemic. Nagraj Manjule not only directed it beautifully but also acted very well. The climax will make you emotional and smile at the same time. So, I'll recommend only these 2 shorts to watch.
Available on Amazon Prime Video.

Consists of 5 short films. And all of them were decent with a little emotional touch and every story revolves around pandemic. And IMO gond ke laddu was the best.
This Unpaused series is a step up from the previous one. In terms of storytelling all five stories are unique and cater to a different echelon of the society. They are not only unique in terms of their story but also unique in terms of they have been told.
Each of them so different that the whole series can't be judged based on one. So judging each episode on its own merit, i found the "War Room" and "Vaikuntha" as the special ones. They not only tell the story about people getting effected by pandemic but they also present a story which at its core is human. Waghmare's moral dilemma about her personal story against the responsibility add an interesting conflict. Similarly through Vaikuntha we can get a peek into a unique point of view into the story of a frontline staff.
Performances in each of the short are exceptionally well. And thoroughly enjoyable.
Overall this show is yet another feather in the cap of the new age storytellers cropping out of the country.

Set of 5 seperate stories during the times of COVID. Really good cinema, worthy of OTT awards. P.s. - suggest you do not binge watch back to back, but savour one at a time.

Ruchir Arun never disappoints his audience, excellent job. The cinematography was so so so good. And work of actors is also good. Gonna give 9/10 to this one.
Nagaraj Manjule! What acting. Without much in terms of dialouges, he conveys so much. Truly the hallmark of a great actor. Warroom was another touching story with excellent acting by Geetanjali Kulkarni. Other stories were ok too i guess. But for me, Vaikunth was the best.
This is one of the series which shows the true state of India during 2021. It made me realise how fortunate I am to be living under a roof and doing my day-to-day activities without any difficulties.
Must watch. Very good stories. Well directed and acted.👍 Finished it in one go. Every episode is one of a kind. Specially the gond ke laddu episode is very good.

Very real and true scenarios faced and loved the ending during pandemic times. Character selection is just apt and story and acting takes care of the other part. The script is really truthful and detailed on hard times faced by different section of the society on day to day life.

If you haven't watched it yet, no need to read the reviews, just go and watch it because it's beautiful, it's sad, it's lovely, and it's enjoyable.
Many anthologies have been made in the last few years. Ankahi Kahaniya, Ajeeb Dastaans are two examples. But Unpaused: Naya Safar eclipses them all. The last story is the best by far, but it is best to watch it in sequence to set up the aura, the depth of the issues, to dive deep in the times of early 2021.
The stories are very real and are depicted in their full reality without adding dramatizing elements. The direction is great (no overuse of portrait mode) and many many new actors are shining in great roles!

The Couple: It deals with a couple stuck in a lockdown working from home. The story takes drastic turn when one of them loses their job & anxiety kicks in. How they conquer it and their relation defines the 25min episode.
Rating: 3/5
War Room: It deals with the happenings inside the covid war room, we all have dealt with the shortage of beds, ambulance & how the teachers were used to deal with the war room issues. Geetanjali Kulkarni's presence is the only saving grace for this episode.
Rating: 2/5
Teen Tigaadaa: A comedy about 3 no gooders is the wittiest of 5. Ashiesh Verma & Sam Mohan are at their best in the episode. Saqib falls a bit short between them but manages it somehow.
Rating: 2.5/5
Gond Ke Laddu: A story about mother's love as as title suggests a mother wants to deliver laddus to her daughter & the delivery boy messes up the order. Due to predictable story, it is the weakest of all episodes.
Rating : 2/5
Vaikunth: A story about death and its impact on life. Probably the best of all & Nagraj Manjule delivers a spellbounding performance. His performance is truly gut wrenching & equally haunting.
Rating: 4.5/5.
