You gotta love the British. Their so-called music experts have amazingly cast the 1990s as a great decade for music. They are commenting on how masterful the British boy bands were and even old Pete Waterman praises songs that were never hits outside of the UK. There was so much rubbish in the 1993-1995 years. I had never heard some of the songs in their Top 30 of each year - because they were never good enough to reach Australia and the USA. And they use the drummer from Wet Wet Wet and Shaun Ryder (who!) to give an expert opinion on the music. Spare me from such nonsense. The earlier 1990-1992 episodes were okay because the music was a bit better, but don't even compare the 90s to the three preceding decades - it is miles behind.
