Excellent tour of history

Having just watched some other Discovery Channel documentary series that were somewhat dark and gruesome, Great Castles of Europe was frankly quite refreshing. It examines the history of many of Europe's great castle. While the history was not always pretty, it was nonetheless extremely interesting and well done. Excellent documentary series.
