Mumbai, Feb 21: Actor Prashant Narayanan, known for his portrayal of dark roles in films like "Bhindi Baazaar", "Murder 2", "Yeh Saali Zindagi", reveals he is recording his own album, which has been titled "Kamasutra".

"My album is being recorded, work is on and it is called 'Kamasutra'. It will come out soon," Prashant said here Wednesday at the music launch of his film "Dee Saturday Night".

Prashant is highly impressed with the music of the film too.

"They have created good music. I also create music and these guys have impressed me with the kind of sound they have. Each song has been designed well and they go.

Mumbai, Feb 11: Actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Prashant Narayanan support the Central Board of Film Certification's (Cbfc) decision to be more stringent about the content of item songs which go on TV. The two feel that raunchy numbers can impact children and banning such songs won't take too much away from a movie.

Prashant, who has been part of intense and bold films like "Bhindi Baazaar" and "Murder 2", respectively, says it is good that a "non-crucial part of a film" would be banned.

"If people have to sell their films by showing the item songs only, then it is good that they are banning it. I feel something which.

New Delhi, May 30: Veteran lyricist Gulzar will turn narrator for "Bhindi Baazaar" producer Karan Arora's new film "Kya Dilli Kya Lahore".

In "Kya Dilli Kya Lahore", he will give a gist of the story and it will be used in the promos as well as film.

"I heard the narration before the film went on floors. What I loved about it is the fact that it is an anti-war film and talks about peace but in a very light-hearted manner. It doesn't have bloodshed and is not political in nature at all, yet makes such a beautiful point of peace between two neighbouring countries,".

This is not the first time a name has been changed in a film. Earlier Shahrukh Khan was asked to remove the word ?barber? from his film that was later titled simply Billu (2009). Now, the Censor board has raised an objection against the name of one character in the upcoming film Bhindi Bazaaar Inc. A character has been named Darzi (meaning tailor in English) in the film.

Wednesday evening witnessed the audio launch of the film Bhindi Baazaar Inc at radio city 91.1. The cast made their presence at the event with full enthusiasm.
