Her newest album Cowboy Carter is nominated for Album of the Year, but that is one Grammy she has never won. While fans are rooting for her, it’s more than likely that she’ll miss out again.

Understand, this is not a criticism. However, in the past, Beyonce has been favored to win Album of the Year at the Grammys multiple times, but she’s always come up short when the final award gets handed out.

In our humble opinion, Cowboy Carter is certainly deserving of the prize, but there’s definitely no saying whether she’ll get the award next year. And as we’ve learned time and time again this year, history has a way of repeating itself.

Attention, all humans: singer-songwriter Beyoncé is watching House of the Dragon, HBO's Game of Thrones prequel show. She revealed as much to GQ, which asked her what in music and media is inspiring her right now. "The best movie I’ve seen this year is Inside Out 2," she said. Terius Gesteelde-Diamant, a songwriter and producer for Beyoncé and Rihanna, has been sued for rape, sexual battery and sex trafficking by a former mentee.

Moulin Rouge! The Musical has found its next Harold Zidler in Boy George, who’ll be making his long-awaited Broadway return from February 6th through May 12th, 2024.

Currently played by Tituss Burgess through next month, the character of Harold Zidler is the owner of the Moulin Rouge night club, also serving as the musical’s de facto emcee. Coincidentally, Boy George’s last time on Broadway — which was over 20 years ago — was Taboo, another musical about a night club.

Moulin Rouge! The Musical is directed by Alex Timbers with a book by John Logan, and is based on Baz Luhrmann’s eponymous 2001 film. It features a wide array of pop hits like “Single Ladies,” “Every Breath You Take,” and, of course, “Lady Marmalade,” which is all well-charted territory for Boy George, who rose to fame as the lead singer of the band Culture Club.

Culture Club singer Boy George will return to Broadway in February after a 20-year absence to play a limited engagement in the hit musical Moulin Rouge! The Musical.

Boy George, born George O’Dowd, will play the role of Harold Zidler at Broadway’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre from Tuesday, February 6, 2024, through Sunday, May 12, 2024.

The Zidler character is the owner of the Moulin Rouge! nightclub and serves as a de facto emcee in the musical. The role was originated on Broadway by Danny Burstein, and is currently played by Tituss Burgess through Sunday, December 17. Eric Anderson returns to the role December 19 through February 4.

Boy George was last on Broadway in the short-lived Taboo, the musical about the fashionable London nightclub Taboo of the 1980s. Boy George wrote the music and lyrics and portrayed nightlife icon Leigh Bowery.

Trisha Paytas is distancing herself from all the controversies surrounding Colleen Ballinger, the YouTube star known as Miranda Sings.

Paytas shared in a recent YouTube video that the Oversharing podcast she had been co-hosting with Ballinger is over and called the whole ordeal “embarrassing.”

“This is all very embarrassing. It’s very embarrassing at the end of the day, I don’t get embarrassed by many things, like obviously,” Paytas said. “The podcast ending after three episodes is embarrassing. Us doing all this is embarrassing…it takes a lot for me to get embarrassed.”

Wayne Brady will lead the Broadway revival of The Wiz, producers Kristin Caskey, Mike Isaacson, Brian Anthony Moreland and Ambassador Theatre Group said Wednesday.

The Who’s Line Is It Anyway star has previously appeared on Broadway as Billy Flynn in Chicago, as Lola in Kinky Boots and as Aaron Burr in the Chicago run of Hamilton. He will take on the role of the Wiz in spring 2024, during the production’s planned Broadway run, following stops at the Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco and at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre.

Before coming to Broadway, the production will launch a tour this fall in Baltimore and travel to cities including DC, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Chicago and San Diego. During those tour stops, Alan Mingo Jr., who has also appeared as Lola in Kinky Boots on Broadway, as well as Sebastian in The Little Mermaid, will play the role of the Wiz.

During a conversation with Today.com alongside his wife, Taylor Dome (who goes by Tay to avoid confusion), to promote their joint podcast The Squeeze, Lautner laughed when he was asked about how he was feeling about the rerelease, set to come out July 7. Loosey Laduca may be the official punching bag of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15, but after processing the results of Friday’s episode, I’d like to direct my attention to a far more deserving queen.

Episode 10 transformed the remaining contestants into TV news hosts, putting them face-to-face with (and occasionally against) three dynamic celebrity personalities — flamenco queen Charo, Ariana’s brother Frankie Grande, and the incomparable Love Connie. (Side note: Did you know Connie played the “Bend and snap? Works every time!” guy in Legally Blonde? Because I sure didn’t!)
