Jannicke Systad Jacobsen was chosen as one of Variety's "Ten European Directors to Watch" at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival 2011. The film also won Best European First Feature at the Mons International Love Festival (Belgium) in 2012.
Jannicke Systad Jacobsen and Helene Bergsholm were awarded the Global Film Can award and the Rising Young Talent Global Film Can award at William and Mary film festival in Virginia, USA 2013.
