British director John Owen’s Indian feature film, The Goa Run and Sreemoyee Bhattacharya’s short film, Veil will be screened at the 22nd Raindance Film Festival that will take place from the 24th September – 5th October 2014 in central London.

Veil follows a young man’s journey through the pangs of social conformation, lusts, fantasies and everything in between. As he reaches through the covers for the obscure, he is on the verge of understanding that his expectations and reality are separated only by a thin veil.

The Goa Run (Peter Gaya Kaam Sey) revolves around a Goan taxi driver who accepts a job from a local crime boss to pay his debts. The film, produced by Disney India, features Rajeev Khandelwal, Lekha Washington and Prashant Narayanan. Rajeev Khandelwal, the  protagonist of the 2008 film Aamir valiantly fought against puritans who opposed the reality show Sach Ka Saamna in the press and in dramatic debates on news channels . Now the controversial show is making a comeback with a third season albeit with a few changes. While the show might still retain most of its characteristics like the polygraph test and the notorious questions it won?t be hosted by Rajeev anymore. The actor explained in a newspaper, ?I?d signed the last season with a limited number of episodes.
