I couldn't even finish the movie it was so bad. The girls telling the stories were pathetic and the acting in the stories were stupid AF. I do not recommend this movie unless you are brain dead. I can see from some of the reviews that there are quite a few brain dead people who enjoyed this piece of garbage.

Wow this is one bad movie.
I don't even know how to describe how bad this film is.
The acting is just the pits.
The writing is non-existent.
The directing is -- what directing?
The music track for some reason overpowers the movie so when there is musi you can't hear the dialog. Maybe that's a blessing.
Here's a caveat to my review-- after the initial horrible segment I started to FF looking for female nudity.
THAT's how bad this movie is.
The handful of glowing good reviews here are clearly fake.
I took a chance and bought this movie without seeing it first and I was not disappointed at all. Each and every one of the stories was unique and did keep you at the edge of your seat. Some with endings not expected and some with ending you'll have to wait to see. I'm assuming they will be picked up again in a sequel. The combination of talent depicted in each story worked well and I would say I liked 90% of what I was watching. There was just enough things to scare you and some things to not only scare you but to give you a little chuckle as well. It was very easy to follow along and it does make you feel as if you in a circle with some of you friends trying to scare the crap out of each other. Great concept and idea and looking forward to finding out some of the endings to a couple stories that just keep you wanting more.. Props.. :)

Stars : Jackey Hall & Devanny Pinn.
Write & Directed by : Jonathan Moody & John Johnson.
Amazing cast of pretty people,Really awe struck how lucky the casting was.
We don't do spoilers here,But so many vignettes with fast paced good writing & filmic execution.
The wraparound to anthology is a slumber party with co-eds telling Scary Stories.
Bashed -lead off and title is giveaway.
Backstabber – Sometimes text are innocent.
The Pledge – First appearance of Devanny Pinn and not the last,Lucky us.
Imaginary Fiend – neat idea, executed well.
Event Invitation – One of the longer segments ,With great set-ups of suspense. A note most of these entries are like 5 minutes.
The Dare – Has the incredible Jackey Hall in it.
Unlucky Night – One of our favorites, with a great pay-off at end.
Valentines Prey – Just take the flowers.
Capture & Kill – Very much a take off of the Duck Dynasty craze and has a great plot and open ended for sequel.
Noise Complaint – last entry and perhaps one of the most disturbing for its set up of events unfolding.
This reviewer was kind of exhausted after this barrage of icky mini – chillers.

I picked this up at an event his past weekend and gave it a watch right away. At first I was a little iffy about a film called "Scary Story Slumber Party," but hey films like "Slumber Party Massacre III" have been quite interesting! After watching the film, I was actually very happy with it. Yeah, some shorts were a little better than others, and some performances were better than others. But it really is put together well and a solid effort, I got exactly what I expected it to be. I would definitely recommend it to people who enjoy anthologies like The Collective series and III Slices of Life. This is another good addition to that subgenre of film making.

I recently viewed a screener of this film, generously provided by the producers. "Scary Story Slumber Party" is an anthology in the tradition of "Tales From the Crypt" and "Creepshow". The framing device, as the title suggests, involves a group of girls having a slumber party with each attempting to one-up the others' scary stories. This is an enjoyable little film I would recommend to fans of the genre. Some of the shorts worked better than others and, as is the case with many low-to-no budget productions, some of the acting is spotty and uneven. However, this did not hinder my enjoyment of the film. The production values are surprisingly good for a film with such a limited budget; the special effects are adequate and convincing, the cinematography is well done and the shorts are directed with confidence. Fans of extreme gore will not find it here, as this one relies more on atmosphere and storytelling to get the point across. There is a vast amount of talent and potential on the screen here, I look forward to seeing what the filmmakers will bring us next. For fans of independent horror, this one is worth a look.
