Doja Cat lyrically owns this song and the camera loves her. She looks beautiful. All that said, the video is a cheap knock-off of Tupac's California Love, and Kanye West, Jay Z and Frank Ocean's No Church in the Wild. Did the video have to make it so obvious that Saweetie filmed her part separately? Doja Cat and Saweetie are both from the suburbs, not the hood. Why are they rapping about being project chicks and hoodrat chicks? It all seemed fake and I couldn't connect to any of it. I was born in the hood and lived there through my teen years. I'm not bragging. I'm just stating I couldn't connect to Doja or Saweetie's fake hood bravado. This song would have been better suited for The City Girls, Sukihana or Cardi B.
