The BBC's big fundraiser comes around again, with it being an opportunity for the corporation to get its big guns out to host.

Quite why this includes the never funny Mel Giedroyc I don't know.

It was a fine (shortened) night, but lacking in that "did you see..." moment you'd remember the next day.

Forgivable as it's for a good cause.
