Another season of “Emily in Paris” is finally here, and Season 4 is diving back into the complicated web of love triangles and fractured friendships.
If you need a quick refresher on all the drama, the Season 3 finale left off with Gabriel and Camille’s disastrous wedding, during which Camille — who is pregnant with Gabriel’s child — outed Gabriel and Emily’s longstanding feelings for one another — in front of Emily’s boyfriend, Alfie — and called off her relationship with Gabriel.
We’ll also be seeing more of Sylvie’s husband, Laurent G, as well as Mindy’s boyfriend, Nicolas, and her band, comprised of Etienne and her ex-situationship, Benoit.
For the full breakdown of all of the “Emily in Paris” cast and characters in Season 4 Part 1 — and where you might have seen them before — see below.

With its list of new releases for June 2023, Prime is bringing a handful of Amazon Originals and many recent movie hits to the fold.
It’s actually quite a busy month for non-American programming in Amazon Originals department. Shows and movies like Deadloch, My Fault, and Medellín all originate from outside the U.S. and U.K. For the American and British crowd, however, the streamer is debuting two big tentpoles.
The first is I’m a Virgo on June 23. Acclaimed director Boots Riley’s TV followup to Sorry to Bother You will tale the surreal and satirical tale of a giant in Oakland. That will be followed by the more conventional (assumedly) fourth season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan on June 30.

Will “Rye Lane,” as a British rom-com, offer anything different than the classics starting from Notting Hill (1999) to Love, Rosie (2014) were able to deliver? The film, directed by Raine Allen-Miller, uses the same old grand gestures and the happy ending but shows us how love can magically blossom on the streets of London, whether it is Peckham, Brixton, or the South Bank. As Dom hides in a unisex restroom and cries about his breakup from three months ago, Yas accidentally listens to him crying. Yas, on the other hand, is also processing her breakup, which is still fresh, but she never says that she is upset about it.
Amidst the pacification of these two characters, “Rye Lane” shows us the rhythmic and vibrant lanes of London filled with color. There is the hope of a new beginning, but the breakups are unending, like the days in the movie that never end.

Although Emily Cooper has made it her missions to take selfies in every corner of Paris in “Emily in Paris,” star Lily Collins doesn’t have as many Parisian recommendations as you would think.
“I don’t have as much free time as I wish that I had to explore,” Collins told The New York Times in a recent interview. “I’m constantly discovering new places and asking for people’s lists because I like the non-tourist spots.”
Despite already filming three seasons in Paris — with the Season 3 finale making a splash in a drama-filled finale — Collins says she still gets excited about shooting in the historic city when she sees the classic Parisian landmarks.

Suki Waterhouse is a little disappointed. The waiter is sorry to inform us that we’ve missed breakfast by six minutes. That means no blueberry pancakes or scrambled eggs. Waterhouse does, however, manage to wrangle us an off-the-menu delight: some toast with a little jam and butter. “It’s not quite lunchtime yet!”
The first hurdle in interviewing Suki Waterhouse is, well, what do you call her. The 30-year-old is best known as a model. Those bangs – chic-ly unkempt in the style of Sixties French icons Juliet Berto and Françoise Hardy – were made famous on the covers of Vogue and Tatler. These days, you’re more likely to see them swishing their way across a big screen opposite Lily Collins in a romcom or in Sam Levinson’s stylistic precursor to Euphoria (Assassination Nation). And she is a musician – one who has just come off tour with Father John Misty and released a debut album.

After dropping the epic “Lord of the Rings” television series on Prime Video last month, it’s no surprise the streaming giant is taking it easy this October. They still have plenty of new shows and movies coming out, though none quite on the scale of their journey to Middle Earth.
That being said, they’re transitioning from the world of fantasy to science fiction with their new series “The Peripheral.” Touted as being from the creators of HBO’s “Westworld,” Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, the time-traveling series is based on author William Gibson’s bestselling sci-fi novel.

Title: Love, Rosie Director: Christian Ditter Starring: Lily Collins, Sam Claflin, Suki Waterhouse, Jaime Winstone, Christian Cooke and Lily Laight Fearlessly pursuing your goals and dreams, no matter how many obstacles or conflicts stand in your way, is a praiseworthy stance not many people always have the courage to follow. But the two lead characters in director Christian Ditter’s new romantic comedy, ‘Love, Rosie,’ entrancingly proves that despite the continuous struggles people face in their personal and professional lives, their faith and persistence will lead them to their desires. "I know boy/girl friendships can be quite complicated sometimes," Alex (Sam Claflin) tells his bestie Rosie (Lily Collins) in "Love, Rosie." And while the film positions itself as a romantic comedy that will explore the knotty emotions that can arise when acquaintanceship turns to attraction, it actually doesn't. Instead, the movie, based on the book "Where Rainbows End" by Cecelia Ahearn (a wise choice on the behalf of the filmmakers to change the title), is the kind of tale about what happens when two people can't just say what they're feeling, and passive aggressively pursue other relationships, even though they really like each other. Yes, boy/girl relationships can be complicated, but sometimes, as these characters learn to the point of tedium, only as complicated as you make them out to be. Told through a not particularly well-conceived flashback device with intermittent voiceover narration, the movie starts twelve years ago,...

★★☆☆☆Etching another notch on the bedpost of the already crowded will they/won't they? vein of romantic comedy, Love, Rosie (2014) boasts a fresh-faced cast whose star power will inevitably be bolstered by appearing in this heinious exercise in ignoble triviality. Directed by Christian Ditter and adapted from Cecelia Ahern's 2004 novel Where Rainbows End, Love, Rosie is ostensibly the iPhone generation's When Harry Met Sally (1989) - a saccharin-drenched drama that rarely merits the chemistry its central cast ably displays. The film sees Lily Collins plays the titular Rosie opposite Sam Claflin's Alex, two best friends who've grown up together side by side.

When two very good looking people are on screen together there emerges within us an urgent desire to see them get together. It’s what 90% of advertising is based on, and in the realm of the movie house we are in no danger of a rom-com shortage.
Lily Collins and Sam Claflin have made decent names for themselves over the last couple of years with the story of Snow White being the element which linked them before Christian Ditter picked up Cecelia Ahern’s Where Rainbows End and so beget Love, Rosie.

Is "Love, Rosie" the sort of British answer to "Knocked Up"? Maybe on the surface. Both films involve pregnancies, relationships and the dramedic (yes, we just made up that word) repercussions that follow. If Judd Apatow's film ended after the birth, Christian Ditter's tale shows what happens long, long after. Based on the book “Where Rainbows End” by Celia Ahern (good thing they changed that title), and starring Lily Collins and Sam Claflin, the story follows childhood pals Rosie and Alex, who find accidents and missteps getting in the way of their romance. But the flame between the too carries on as they grow up, leading to tears, hugs and lots of stuff you'll probably see coming a million miles away, but that will make your Mom and Aunt cry anyway. Also, there will be texting. Lots and lots of texting. "Love, Rosie" opens in the U.K.

Based on Cecelia Ahern's novel Where Rainbows End, romantic comedy Love, Rosie stars Lily Collins and Sam Claflin as two friends, who, over the course of twelve years, try to juggle life and their friendship with their obvious feelings for each other. Ah, love, sex and... disappearing condoms? Okay, we weren't expecting that, and we have to admit, we kind of forgot this movie was being made at all, but lo and behold, the rom-com "Love, Rosie" has dropped two new teaser trailers to get your anticipation uh, rising.... Lily Collins and Sam Claflin lead this one, based on the novel “Where Rainbows End” by Celia Ahern (“P.S. I Love You"), adapted by Juliette Towhidi (“Calendar Girls”), and directed by Christian Ditter, that follows two best friends who suddenly get more than they bargained for when a brief sexual encounter winds up in a pregnancy, scuttling plans for college. And from there, the film will track their lives over the next dozen years. Can their friendship survive this? Looking at the officially released stills, the answer is probably yes. "Love, Rosie" opens in the U.K. this fall. No U.S. date yet.
