Sanya Lopez was initially offered to star in the film, but conflict on schedules forced her to quit the project. The production instead hired Kim Chiu who at the point became popular because of her song, Bawal Lumabas (The Classroom Song).
Joaquin Domagos replaced Kelvin Miranda who also bagged out from the movie because of schedule problem.
