Producer Ramesh Deo approached Nana Patekar initially to do the narration of the film, Nana who asked him to contact him after 3 days, Ramesh started ringing him for several days who avoided speaking to Ramesh. Finally Ramesh contacted Amitabh Bachchan, who did the narration for free for the lengthy relationship he shares with Ramesh Deo & Seema Deo. When Amitabh was offered money he refused this gesture and took a pen instead.
