Hank Mann gets whacked on the head. When he stands up again, he spots a harem of beautiful women in skimpy costumes being held captive by potentate Vernon Dent. Hank wants in on a good thing.
Mann was turning out these two-reel comedies for Morris Schlank at a terrific pace, so quality was bound to suffer in their haste to get them out on the states rights circuit. Nonetheless, Mann was a serious and capable screen comic, so while he might indicate a harem by draping rugs around an apartment landing set, there were trap doors and recording panels aplenty for the big finale. The results might not be top rate, but it certainly has its funny moments.
