Niña and Niño are siblings--- and at the same time, small time thieves. Their story starts 16 years ago when Niña is left under the care of her loving and religious grandmother Belen by their flighty and ambitious mother, Gloria.

Delia, with her crippled son Kaloy, arrive in Sta Ynez to seek help from Ka Iking. Friendship blossoms between Niño and Jen-Jen. While Niña discover Ka Iking's kept secret.

With Ka Iking gone, Niña grabs the opportunity to sell fake herbal medicines in order to make a living. Niño has no choice but to get along with her sister's plans.

Niño consoles Jen-Jen and Pol after learning that Janet is missing. Meanwhile, Niña lets both Gardo and Bert to court her.

Jen-Jen and Pol are confronted by the news that Janet is possibly dead. Niña and Niño try to help their friends to recuperate from the situation.

Jen-Jen is left alone as Pol decides to leave Sta. Ynez for a while. Niña and Niño, together with the other townspeople, are doing their best to help Jen-Jen recover.

As Jen-Jen leaves Sta Ynez alone, Niño is torn between taking care of Lola Belen and finding Jen-Jen. Niña on the other hand, is trying to balance her friendship with Kap Pinang and Isay.

Gardo and Bert are both giving their best foot forward for Niña's affection, while Niña seems to he confused as to who her heart really belongs to.

Jen-Jen is back in Sta Ynez but Niña and Niño both fail to cheer her up. Meanwhile, Bert seems to be getting close with his evil plans.

Niña is starting fall in love with Gardo but Bert would not give up without a fight. Niño is being pushed away by Jen-Jen no matter how hard he tries to connect with her.

Jen-Jen is trying to live her life alone without anybody's help. Bert is onto something to fulfill his evil schemes for Niña and Niño.

Lola Belen seems to have remembered Niña, and she owes it all to Bert. Niña's heart is once again confused about what she really feels for Gardo.
