Did you know
- TriviaThe three pirates Guybrush meets at the crossroads (the treasure hunter, the sword master and the thief) are all encountered earlier in the game, during the second chapter, Siege of Spinner Cay. They are the pirates assaulting LeChuck, thinking he has one of the golden artifacts. Apparently, the treasure hunter later died of a shot by a cannon, the sword master got decapitated and skewered by a sword, and the thief's hands were cut off.
- Quotes
Reginald Van Winslow: Well, the important thing now is that LeChuck is gone! For good this time!
Elaine Marley: And *you* are finally free from whatever fate was planned for you and LeChuck.
Guybrush Threepwood: And that's what this whole "Esponja Grande" thing has been about, huh?
Elaine Marley: Actually, it's pronounced "es-pon-HA", with an "H" sound at the end?
Guybrush Threepwood: Really? But we've all been saying "Espon-Ja".
Elaine Marley: Yes I know. It's been bothering me this whole time. I'm just telling you because I don't want you to look silly.
Guybrush Threepwood: [Giggling] Oh, you're gonna get it for that!
- Crazy creditsAfter the credits, the ghost of Morgan LeFlay appears before the Voodoo Lady, carrying a jar with the essence of LeChuck. Morgan trades the jar in exchange for the Voodoo Lady's promise that she resurrect her into the world of the living again.
