Honestly I would just like to know which marriages lasted, and which didn't.
I liked this show at first, but it soon got very tiresome to hear all the complaints by the other contestants. Steaks too rare, food too blah, food too spicy, too little food, too much food, endless complaints. Outdoor weddings too hot or too cold or too windy (well, try checking the weather forecast and prepare, DUH). Decorations not spectacular enough. Dress is not their style. On and on. And these are not cheap weddings!!!!! Can give you some good ideas, but the overall negativity is a total downer.
My daughter and I started watching this series when she announced her engagement to be married in six months. I thought it would be a great show to wedding ideas from and I will give it that--it was. Several of her decorations and activities came from ideas generated from this series.
But that is unfortunately the ONLY positive thing I have to say about the show. The show features four brides who go to each others weddings and give them scores for food, venue, dress, and overall experience. There is absolutely nothing scientific in the scoring and no possible way of ensuring that the scoring is fair (no, not even the "rate the weddings in order" section). Scores are usually dependent upon things that have nothing to do with weddings in general and more on personal bias. For instance there is one bride who scores a wedding ridiculously low because she is a vegetarian and there was meat served. There's another episode where one girl is allergic to peanuts and eats something that she didn't realize had peanuts inside so she scored her next to nothing. I could probably list another hundred examples of that.
God forbid someone doesn't want alcohol or a dance at their wedding and when did a cocktail hour complete with another five courses become an expected part of a proper wedding? No wonder the average budget for these weddings is about $40,000. (Just a guess based on episodes I've seen) There is almost nothing covered about the couples themselves, any challenges they've overcome, their goals, dreams, and most importantly, their love for each other. These things would only give the wedding genuine meaning and real value. But there are no scores for those aspects. How sad.

The show is pointless and a waste of air time. Hopefully it gets cancelled soon. Whoever came up with it should be fired.

Bingeing it on Discovery Plus at the moment. The low number of reviews means that only people who were annoyed came on here to troll and the people who like it just haven't bothered to leave a review. Very enjoyable and relaxing watch...Especially if you love judging other like my family does!
Non-sense. They make game shows out of everything nowadays.
Weddings are supposed to be expensive ceremonies to let everyone know that a guy and lady are getting married. In this show it makes weddings look worse.
Its just women competing with other women to see who has the best (or most expensive) wedding.
This show is lame and boring.
What can be learned? People still get married.
What can be learned? First comes wedding with cameras then comes Lawyer with Divorce Papers.

Human entitlement at its worst. Each bride critiquing the other brides wedding at a rating full of personal biased and how entertained they were. Not one of them were graceful about it either. Not one of these women deserved the price tag of being a guest at another's wedding. All smile in each other's face and gossip while sharing their most intimate of events. It really ruined the beauty of each event. The big lady was the most awful. She had literal goose poop on her wedding guests feet but viciously critiqued the food and her not being entertained, except the chocolate bar. Only thing is my compassion for each bride was sucked dry by each ones shallow critique of nit picked things they on camera said for each disparage. None of them were fair and grateful to be a part of each one's special 10-50 thousand dollar weddings. You could tell that each one was thoughtfully tailored to each bride. The side talk too was tacky as hell. The money value spent in 2009-2014 would be so much more this day and age.

Another annoying waste of life show about 4 women rating each other's boring, tedious, Roman wedding.
That's it. It's a game show. It's all based on how much money you'll allow your dog to eat. Usually who ever does wins and they get to go on a free honeymoon.
YAWN!
It's not that this show exists. It's that people actually choose to sit and watch this. Iknowright. Not only that, but it's mind-numbing.
