One mistake will change the Samonte brothers' lives forever.

Juan, Oscar and Franco start being suspicious regarding Lyvia and Bernardo Elizondo's secret relationship.

Wanting to meet with his lover's brothers, Bernardo phones Livia and asks her to go to their meeting place, which Gabriela overhears. On his way to see Livia, Bernardo notices that someone is following him. While trying to lose the people who are following them, Bernardo's driver loses control of the vehicle, causing their car to fall off a cliff.

After succeeding in her plan to end the life of her husband, Gabriela pretends to bemoan in front of her children. Livia, on the other hand, truly mourns over her lover's death, leading her to go to Bernardo's funeral. Upon facing Livia, Gabriela humiliates her husband's mistress in front of everyone and later makes her pay for having an affair with Bernardo.

Gabriela takes another step in making Livia's life a living hell as she orders her henchmen to rape Bernardo's mistress. Soon, the Samonte brothers look for Livia around town, not knowing that she is left for dead along the banks of the creek after being raped and stabbed. A tip from a townsperson later leads Juan to find his sister whose life hangs by a thread.

Juan, Oscar, and Franco swear vengeance on the people responsible for Livia's death. Focusing on the Elizondos, the brothers move to Manila where they weave their plans toward the downfall of the family. Soon, Juan and Oscar adopt different surnames as they enter the Elizondo estate as a family driver and farmer.

Despite being haunted by a traumatic experience in the past, Norma still chooses not to tell it to her sisters. During a meeting with their business partners, Gabriela announces that she will manage their farm instead of Sari. Upset with her mother's decision, Sari goes to a bar where she later meets Oscar. With Norma and Jamie's support, Sari musters the guts to talk to her mother the next morning and tells Gabriela that she wants to manage their farm.

While Norma and Sari speak with the farmers, Gabriela meets with Arch. Gelo Corpuz to see the architectural plan of the Elizondo Resort. Opposing to her mother's plan to relocate the farmers, Norma speaks about a document that will prove that Bernardo has given a portion of their land to the farmers. As the Elizondos look for the document inside Bernardo's old office, Juan finds it in a secret drawer along with Bernardo's annulment petition. Juan also discovers that Livia is included in Bernardo's last will and testament.

With Bernardo's documents still missing, Norma asks her mother to write a new agreement in order to give the farmers their deserved portion of the land. However, Gabriela refuses before revealing her plans to push through with the construction of the Elizondo Resort. Upon getting hold of Bernardo's last will and testament, Oscar feels the urge to avenge his sister's death by murdering the Elizondo matriarch, but Juan stops his brother. Soon, the Samonte brothers are shocked with a video they found in Bernardo's camera.

Wanting to forget her tragic experience, Norma musters the courage to return to the lake where she was abused. Meanwhile, Henry obeys Gabriela's order and enjoins his henchman to blast the woods to frighten the farmers. Upon realizing that Norma is near the forest, however, Gabriela tries to stop Henry, but it is too late. Juan rushes to the burning forest and ultimately saves Norma.

The Samonte's plans on taking revenge against the Elizondos slowly take effect as Juan earns Gabriela's approval after rescuing Norma from the fire. Meanwhile, the farmers tell Sari of their suspicions about Gabriela's involvement in the accident.

After being rumored to be behind the fire in the woods and receiving an anonymous threat, Gabriela fumes with anger and orders the farmers to vacate her land within three days. Failing to persuade Gabriela to change her mind, Norma follows Juan's advice and later secretly enters her mother's room where she finally finds the deed of donation.

Before engaging in the drug buy-bust operation to help in Gabriel's arrest, Gabriela begs Juan to take care of her daughters in case something bad happens to her. Juan, however, responds by reminding Gabriela of the cases that she must face once the operation is over. When Gabriela soon steps into the warehouse, an exchange of gunfire occurs between the authorities and the criminals. Gabriela tries to leave the area, but Gabriel soon finds her and takes her hostage.

Taking another step in making Gabriela pay for killing Livia, Juan leads Norma into finding the camera inside Bernardo's table, which eventually gives Norma the determination to look for Bernardo's mistress. Learning about Norma's plan, Gabriela taps Fernando's help and soon uses a woman with a scarred face to make Norma believe that Livia is an indecent woman.

Juan stops Oscar from murdering Gabriela and assures him that they will get the justice Livia deserves. Thinking that Norma will question her mother when she sees Livia's name on Bernardo's last will and testament, Juan comes up with a plan to let Norma discover the document. Things, however, did not go as Juan planned as Norma apologizes to her mother and expresses her hatred over Livia for fooling Bernardo. Soon, Juan and Oscar confront Livia's impostor and demand the truth from her.

In exchange for a huge amount of money, Lyvia's impostor Jessa agrees to reveal the truth to Norma. Meanwhile, things heat up between Sari and Oscar as they both model in a photo shoot for Sari's project. Jamie and Franco get the chance to become closer to each other after saving Rio from Daniel.

At Armada, Franco calms Jamie upon seeing her pressured and tensed. As the bar becomes too busy, Jamie decides to help serving the orders but suddenly catches fire on her hair, prompting Franco to save her. Oscar puts a smile on Sari's face when he refuses to take the payment for their photo shoot and later insists on helping her with the deliverables. Elsewhere, Juan and Norma encounter an irate driver who points a gun at them.

As part of his plan on avenging Lyvia's death, Oscar engages in a drinking session with Sari and later spends a fiery night with her. The next morning, Oscar confesses his love for Sari, leaving her surprised. Meanwhile, Norma speaks with Eva and opens up about how she feels around Juan. However, Norma reiterates that Fernando is the one she loves.

Norma continuously gives Juan the cold shoulder to show him that they have nothing more than a work relationship. She then goes to a hotel with Fernando but ends up weeping upon remembering what happened to her in the woods. Juan comforts Norma after fetching her from the hotel and later professes his love for her.

In exchange for a huge amount of money, Lyvia's impostor Jessa agrees to reveal the truth to Norma. Meanwhile, things heat up between Sari and Oscar as they both model in a photo shoot for Sari's project. Jamie and Franco get the chance to become closer to each other after saving Rio from Daniel.

Following a fight with her mother, Jamie sneaks out of their house to visit Franco at the hospital. Norma then decides to accept Fernando's marriage proposal, despite Juan's profession of love. Sari also ends things with Oscar, while Norma decides to dismiss Juan as her driver.

To make him forget about his feelings for her, Norma dismisses Juan as her driver but offers to give him a job at the construction site. Oscar also gets reassigned at the construction site after failing to make Sari accept his marriage proposal. Meanwhile, Franco decides to let Jamie stay with him, after Gabriela cuts all of Jamie's financial resources.

Jamie speaks with Rio in private and asks her to stay away from Franco to keep him safe from Daniel. In turn, Rio hands Jamie a letter addressed to Franco. Oscar arrives home and becomes surprised upon seeing Jamie sleeping in Franco's bed. Meanwhile, Lucia notices that Norma and Juan are constantly gazing at each other, leading her to believe that the two developed feelings for one another.

Oscar falls silent upon hearing that Sari might be pregnant. As Dos reaches Victor's home, Henry arrives with his henchmen and they beat him up. Soon, Dos faces Gabriela and says that he knows who she really is, prompting her to point a gun at him. Meanwhile, Norma saves Juan from being terminated, leading Fernando to become angry at her. Later, Juan follows Norma on her way home, and as rain starts to pour, Norma and Juan take refuge in a hut where they share a passionate night together.

Upon coming home, Norma opts to be alone but soon confides what happened between her and Juan to Eva. The next day, Norma breaks up with Fernando, feeling guilty over sharing a night with Juan. Meanwhile, Jamie and Franco argue about the latter's plan to look for Rio, causing Jamie to leave his home.

Despite knowing that Gabriela is behind Dos' death, Juan still could not bring himself to forget his love for Norma. Gabriela orders Juan to stay away from Norma and later instructs Henry to bring her to Dos' residence, hoping to clear any evidence that might reveal her shady activities. Meanwhile, Jaime's resolve not to return to their house remains firm despite her sisters urging her to go back home.

Norma tells Fernando that she cannot continue being with him anymore. As Norma finds herself having an intimate moment with Juan, she recalls her dark past and eventually opens up to Juan about being raped. Before accepting Jamie in his house again, Franco apologizes to the lady for refusing to take her advice.

Norma feels guilty about having an affair with Juan and cancels her engagement with Fernando. Losing his fiancée, Fernando furiously beats up Juan. Meanwhile, Franco finds Gabriela and Henry investigating on Dos in at his condominium unit. After learning from Franco that her mother stopped by the condominium, Jamie decides to go home.

Learning about Norma's growing affection for Juan, Gabriela tries to separate the two. However, Norma only sides with Juan and vindicates her decision to be with him. Juan, on the other hand, urges Norma to run away with him. Meanwhile, Lazaro recalls how Gabriela dumped him to be with Bernardo.

Gabriela takes out her frustrations on Jamie after learning about Norma's decision to call off her wedding with Fernando to be with Juan. Instead of listening to Gabriela, Norma downplays her mother's tirades and sets off with Juan through the help of Jamie and Sari. Meanwhile, Fernando redirects his wily schemes on Norma's mother and makes a brash move toward Gabriela.
