Young and the Restless predictions wonder if Sharon Newman will end up remanded to prison or committed to Fairview once she’s found guilty of murder on the CBS soap opera.
Sharon Newman in Crisis on Young and the Restless
Recently, on Young and the Restless, Sharon Newman started to lose control of her mental health. She’s lived with bipolar disorder for years now and has managed it well. However, when she went on new medication, things took a turn.
She started to feel off and act strange causing her family to notice. Then, things went from bad to worse when she started hallucinating Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby). Undoubtedly, Cameron is dead on Young and the Restless.
Sharon killed him in self-defense not long ago when he started stalking her again. In fact, it might be Ptsd from killing him that is causing her to spiral out of control.

Sharon is in deep trouble on The Young and the Restless, or so it appears. By all accounts, the September 27 episode showed that Sharon believes she killed Heather.
Twists and Turns
We simply cannot believe that Y&R is writing off Sharon Case for her 30th anniversary on the soap opera. The previous episode indicated that Sharon blacked out, and when she came to, Heather (Vail Bloom) was dead. The fact that Y&r is staying mum about Bloom’s status on the show leads us to believe there is a whole lot more to this story.
While we’ve wondered if perhaps Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) or Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) had something to do with Heather’s potential demise, we suspect there could be another twist that would save Sharon in the end. It’s possible that Sharon, with Cameron’s (Linden Ashby) help, could’ve set it up...

The Young and the Restless heavily focuses on Sharon this week and her quest to poison Daniel. This haunting storyline could bring Daisy back. She won’t be happy to hear about Sharon’s doing with the love of her life.
What’s Going On With Sharon?
Sharon (Sharon Case) hasn’t been herself lately. Ever since she’s been off her meds, she’s been hallucinating and acting erratically. She can hear Cameron (Linden Ashby), encouraging her to poison Daniel (Michael Graziadei).
She tried to make her dark thoughts go away, but there were moments when she blacked out and did things she didn’t want to do. On the Thursday, September 26th episode, Sharon had decided not to poison Daniel, and she’d cleaned up the mess she’d made. As she left, she came face to face with Heather (Vail Broom).
At one point, she confronted Heather.

Look, there’s no way around this: August is a slow month for TV, and Netflix isn’t any different. Splashy fall TV is right around the corner, but August seems best designed to catch up on some of the best TV of the year so far that you may have missed.
It’s not a total wasteland, however: “Emily in Paris” returns this month for Season 4 Part 1. The internet loves to make fun of it, but the dreamed is truly one of the best brain-dead shows to watch when it’s too hot to do much of anything else. Lily Collins wears the most amazing outfits! There’s lots of kissing! Why do you think you’re better than it?! Much like other recent Netflix hits such as “Bridgerton,” “Emily in Paris” Season 4 will be divided into two parts, with Part 1 dropping August 15 and Part 2 debuting a month later.

There’s a great beating heart at the center of Lucy Kirkwood’s The Welkin, making its American debut after an ill-timed January 2020 premiere at London’s National Theatre. Fans of Sandra Oh’s masterful work on Killing Eve and Grey’s Anatomy won’t be surprised to find her bringing the same kind of acerbic warmth and casually razor-sharp intelligence that Eve Polastri and Dr. Cristina Yang shared to Elizabeth Luke, an 18th-century English midwife who finds herself wrapped up in a murder trial. Even churning butter, which Oh approaches with a ferocious purposefulness, Lizzy still has lots of bite.
The accused is Sally Poppy (Haley Wong), a maid who skipped town with a ruffian only to come back home to her husband drenched in the blood of the young rich girl she used to serve. She’s already been found guilty of murder, but she’s “pled the belly.

The Making Of ‘Illinoise’ And The Guiding Vision Of Sufjan Stevens – Tony Watch Q&a With Justin Peck
Illinoise, the dance-musical hybrid nominated for four Tony Awards (including Best Musical) is the seventh collaboration between Justin Peck, the resident choreographer and artistic advisor of the New York City Ballet, and his old friend and creative partner Sufjan Stevens, the indie singer-songwriter turned Oscar nominee (for his song “Mystery of Love” from 2017’s Call Me By Your Name). But it’s safe to say this quirky gem is something unique. Unlike the duo’s previous projects, which include commissions from major dance companies across the country, Illinoise isn’t exactly a ballet. It’s not exactly a musical either.
Putting movement to Stevens’ 2005 album Illinois and its captivating mixture of indie folk, rock and orchestral arrangements – not to mention lyrics that combine the autobiographical, the historical (figures from the state’s past and landscape pop up frequently) and the fanciful are fashioned into an episodic narrative without dialogue.

The setting for Illinoise, Justin Peck and Jackie Sibblies Drury’s emotionally supercharged reinterpretation of the 2005 Sufjan Stevens concept album, is various locations across the Land of Lincoln — a cornfield, a hiking trail, a woodland clearing, the suburban home of a serial killer, a small town in the middle of nowhere, the top of a skyscraper and, of course, Chicago, with an out-of-state detour to New York City. But the real setting of this thrilling dance-musical-concert hybrid, alternately rhapsodic and shattering, is our collective youth.
Without a word of spoken dialogue, the show pulls us into late adolescence, a time when love, anguish and everything in between are felt perhaps with the greatest intensity. The book co-written by director-choreographer Peck and Drury (who won the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for Drama with her brilliant meta-theatrical race inquiry, Fairview) is skillfully shaped yet invisible in the best sense of undiluted physical, sensorial and elemental storytelling.

The Young and the Restless (Y&r) spoilers tease that Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) morbid exit after all of her villain antics leaves a hole on the canvas. Might this be just the opening needed to bring back one of the show’s legendary crazies, and set up another explosive dramarama?
Before Jordan came on the scene, it was Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) who played the role of the arch villain. Like Jordan he popped back up to make someone’s life a living hell–Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). He was a spectacular villain, depraved, and without a shred of decency—just like Jordan.
But he got his comeuppance and next came Jordan. Now that Jordan is gone, who will be next to fill the menace void in Gc? Longtime viewers know what Patty Williams is made of—she would be the perfect person to fill the dark void in Gc!

It’s not hard to imagine what Justin Peck heard in Sufjan Stevens’s 2005 album Illinois that convinced him that the music pulsated with possibilities for dance. Illinois, with its orchestral textures, surprising mixed-meter rhythms, and impressionistic instrumental interludes, is an explosively varied 75 minutes of music as Stevens’s lyrics traverse the history, geography, and iconography of the Prairie State. At its best, Peck’s stage adaptation, which arrives at the Park Avenue Armory following a run at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater, suggests that rapturous movement was somewhere inside Stevens’s songwriting from the start.

Mitchell Lichtenstein's 2007 horror film "Teeth" has a notable premise. A young woman named Dawn (Jess Weixler) has just joined a Christian abstinence group and has elected to leave sex out of her life until she is able to be married. At about the same time, however, Dawn finds that she has a series of razor-sharp teeth in her vagina. This development terrifies her, but she also finds that it can fight back against the multiple men who attempt to assault her throughout the film. Several men will not exit the film wholly intact. "Teeth" is an excellent coming-of-age drama that confronts backward notions of sexual purity, angrily addresses the constant objectification of adolescent women, and is a wonderfully wicked tale of feminist vengeance. It was one of the best films of 2007.

Here’s something we didn’t have on our horror bingo card this week: a stage musical adaptation for 2007’s cult horror comedy Teeth is in the works.
Deadline reports that Michael R. Jackson, the Pulitzer and Tony award-winning playwright of A Strange Loop, is working on an adaptation set for an Off Broadway debut next year.
The musical was announced as part of Playwrights Horizons’ 2023-24 season. Teeth, the musical, will feature lyrics by Jackson, music by Anna K. Jacobs and a book co-written by both. Previews are slated to begin in February 2024.
Here’s Playwright Horizons’ official synopsis for Teeth: “Dawn O’Keefe is an evangelical Christian teen with a powerful secret not even she understands – when men violate her, her body bites back. However, this won’t be the same collection of young women from the original film — or even its cult classic sequel. This round, we see how the popular clique got its start.
