The title of this documentary is taken from the first line of the iconic Reading Rainbow (1983) theme song, which was written and composed by Stephen Horelick, Dennis Neil Kleinman, and Janet Weirwas.
The second documentary feature that Bradford Thomason and Brett Whitcomb co-directed. Their first collaboration as directors was the documentary Jasper Mall (2020).
