Tiffany often writes about dreaming. 'The Acorn Penny' and her recent children's picture book 'The Porch Dream' are both about dreaming. Her picture book is about her dog dreaming of saving the day and 'The Acorn Penny' is about a young girl dreaming of her potential in a war torn future.
The film was shot completely in Cleveland. They utilized green screen with background plates coming from the UNHCR (United Nationa High Commission on Refugees).
The dog in the film is the same dog featured in her children's book, 'The Porch Dream'. In the film, Tiffany was standing behind the tree giving Bella hand instructions.
